  • San Jose police have made a serious aerial upgrade with the unveiling of a brand-new helicopter.
How serious? For starters, pilots won’t have to use paper maps and Thomas Guides to navigate their way above the city.
Air3, a new Airbus H125 helicopter will replace the 16-year-old
Air2, which was used for twice it's recommended
    service life.

This is simply costly noise pollution and shouldn't be allowed. Show some proof that this is a cost-effective method of keeping citizens safe. Cost analysis should include both the negative and positive elements of using helicopters, including all externalities, such as citizens' lost sleep and anxiety.

It's worth it. Sometimes the bad guys evade the ground units, but the helicopter can maintain visual and relay location to ground units.

It’s a helicopter not a jet. It’s not that loud. Bruh

@@Groudon22759 I've never had a jet hover over my house at 300 feet for 5 hours straight with a megaphone and spotlight. Clearly, if they're utilizing a helicopter for 5 hours straight to try and locate one person it's not a very effective tool at doing its job, and certainly not a cost-effective one.
