I use infinite buff potions @30 stack in this playthrough. This is arguably cheating but for me it's a huge QoL difference not having to take breaks to mob farm / fish if I'm grinding a hard boss for hundreds of deaths.
All the arena buffs that you'd reasonably expect are permanently on me because I'm carrying them in my piggy bank. This EXCLUDES bast statues and evil effigies because I wouldn't actually farm other worlds enough to put them throughout my large arenas. I'll still use honey because flipper potion makes you immune to the slowdown from honey bubbles.
On my Master Malice Calamity playthrough I had perma statues/effigies which in hindsight gave a lot of advantage. Bast + effigies would've added somewhere around 20 def and some DR%. But even the smallest defense can make a huge difference.
Calamity now has an option to disable double tap dash and add a dash keybind. Thank the lord. This will make things much more fun.
Calamity removed a bunch of strong potions like draconic elixir, profaned rage, titan scale, triumph, and yharim's stims, so I think the player is statistically much weaker now.
