You cannot cancel, you can divide by 2 in this example. 😊

Or, 2/2^4=2^1-4=2^-3=1/8, I think it is a piece of cake 🎉

When you get the answer right the first time, but thought you were wrong because you thought 2⁴ = 2↑4

You can do that, if you’re known the simple thing, that exponentiations can be added or subtracted from the same principle as numbers.

    On 5:18
    In division:
    Dividend
    ----- = Quotient + Reminder
    Divisor
    No other things.
    People remember:
You have to simplify your equation to solve the problem, as much as you can, to addition ➕ and subtraction ➖, because everything beginning with addition and subtraction!

    1/8=0.125
    2÷2(2)(2)(2)=1/8 also.
120"÷2π(11"+1")=1.59 revolutions. And 120"÷π(22"+2")=1.59 also. Because any answer in area makes no sense.
PEMDAS was created by frustrated middle school teachers, not mathmaticians. The actual properties of multiplication says coefficients belong to the parenthetical, and must be calculated first.

    Hi, Sir! Please verify:
    2 / 2^4 = 2 / 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 1 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 (simplified from left to right; division and multiplication given equal treatment, based from PEMDAS ). 2 / 2^4 is not 2 / (2^4), as we all know. You are right, many are really confused. Any thoughts? Ilocano Math TV RUclips channel here!TY.❤

The way you do PEMDAS @2:13 is wrong. Try applying those with applied math, engineering, physics and higher math... they don't follow it. Have you heard of juxtaposition? Regular math teacher loves to assert "their rule of order of appearance" but in reality, juxtaposition is applied in real life.

    Too long of an explanation!!!

    • @sr.bazan10
      @sr.bazan10 4 месяца назад

No. In mathematics you have to get all things, to solve the problems.
Now you said that is to long, when you are learned something, but if you don’t know how to do the operation, then you are having to simplify the situation to understand how it will become to that point.
