@@sclark1948 No. In Manhattan, Trump got 15% of the vote in 2020. 12 x 15% = 1.8 Round up to 2. It only takes ONE for a hung jury.

We can only hope that the jurors know that Costello [is] a distinguished lawyer with decades of experience, and who knows what a show trial is. Because without such a response, the non-attorney JURORS would otherwise think that Merchan's psychotic rulings are normal.
The reason is because the judge knows a conviction probably will not stick in the long run. The purpose is to win an election. Period.

I did read NBC' updates throughout the day. They omitted plenty but made sure to say the jury "looked bored". If I didn't have Prof. Dershowitz (and a few others who have attended the trial and tweet about it), I would have a way different "take" on what is going on. It is really awful and if the jury is a hung one, there will be all kinds of screaming and yelling from people who rely on MSM. Horrible "reporting" and the trial should have been televised instead of relying on slanted and biased reporting. Infuriating.
the reporting is on purpose. Any family member and friend of the jury will be pestering them to convict, so to not convict would defy all logic (to the CNN viewers mind) A jury will not risk ruining family and friendships over something that seems so clear if you are not in actual attendance
