I really appreciate your vids. I'm feeling the same way now. I'm enjoying what I've created so far❤️🙏🏾 it's kind of scary to me bc I'm usually way more future focused
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It can be tough to get away from chasing arbitrary numbers. I'm into my third year of a new career where I have to measure my success in the value I deliver to clients and cannot necessarily just count the hours I work or track a winning percentage. A lot of Stoic principles help with that shift away from arbitrary numbers to appreciation for where you are right now. Keep up the good work on the way to 1,000,000.
Thank you my friend! Yes there can be times where we must count numbers for career success. I totally get that. I guess similar to what you mentioned about the Stoic philosophy, I was meaning not to postpone your enjoyment of life until you hit a certain number. Wishing you all the best on your journey! I’m grateful we get to share it! 😊🙏🏻
@@midsonshort - I meant I am on your side of things. I tried to view "success" as hitting arbitrary numbers and metrics at first, but realized there is a lot more to enjoy in life by being happy with what I have achieved so far. I forget that a better measure is how far I have come versus how far I need to go. The arbitrary numbers are a mirage that can always move. Progress can be tracked, celebrated, and built upon positively.
Thanks for sharing, I've enjoyed following for a while now, your videos are very relatable.
Thank you! That means a lot to me to have you here and that I can bring you value! 😊🙏🏻
