    People may get mad at what I’m about to say, but I think Afeni made a lot of mistakes with handling PAC’s estate after he passed.
    Yes she fought and got control, but she put everything in the wrong people hands in case she passed away. And you have people stealing money, all the wrong ppl handling his estate.
    And now his sister has to fight like hell to get back something that should have been left for her in the first place.

      You aren’t wrong, when he was alive he didn’t want her having anything to do with his business, that was not by accident, a former friend of mine who was a recovering addict told me there is no such thing as a former addict, it’s a constant battle to not relapse, when placed in the proper context you can understand why Tupac didn’t involve her in his business.

    He's definitely made a lot of valid points in this interview!! When I first heard that the Hughes bros were gonna do the docu series, I immediately said to myself, they don't even like Tupac!! All it shows is that Tupac was loved by many and also hated by some and even the haters will pop up to get paid off of his legacy because without him, they'd eventually fade out and be forgotten in a large way! 💯

      From their perspective that may be true. That seems to be the perspective of alot of people who didnt know him that well. But the point is this documentary is the best Pac documentary yet. Yall keep wanting Pacs friends,fans and family to do these projects. And thats how you get projects like Loyal to the Game,the wack biopic etc😆. Maybe he got a better understanding of Pac through doing the documentary. The quality tells me an "enemy" of Pac produced it.

As a matter of fact, the Golbi guy that was with him that had a lot of unseen video footage of him would have been a good choice but he was forced by the estate to release all of the unreleased footage of 2pac!

      I would love to meet him. I had the chance to meet Pac twice in 93 and 94 and his mom and sister in 2010.

    Imagine being reminded everyday about your son being murdered, and at the same time being reminded of how revered and loved he was. People still playing his music, wearing his image on their clothes and you hear it and see it 25+ years later. Thats crazy to me!. My son is 13 and has a Poetic Justice hoodie with Pac on it. My wife loves the movie.

    To be honest , Allen Hughes had no business even making a documentary on 2pac at all. 2pac didn’t even fk with him or his brother. Plenty of other ppl the estate could have allowed to make one on 2pac and his mother.

    Billy was spot on with noting there was no reason to ask that question about Pac getting shot in the nuts. I definitely peeped that too. Allen took a few shots at Pac throughout the documentary. So did Man Man and a few others. Most of the people in the documentary Pac had either fired or they weren't on good terms when he passed. Overall, I think the doc was good but Allen and a few others personal bias definitely still came through.

    Being able to see your sons face and hear his voice every single day 25 years after his death is a blessing, not a curse. It’s not to remind you that you have a dead son, it reminds you that your son was here. He lived, he mattered, he made a difference, and people love him to this day.
    Also, the Hughes brothers did a great job on the documentary. By far, it’s the best Tupac film/documentary that’s been put out. When someone is as big as Tupac, the world wants to know every little detail about their life. You can’t leave the bad stuff out just because you don’t like it. Whether you like it or not, it was part of Tupac and his life.

      Agreed, I have to disagree with Billy. We have to put in the reasonable doubt people may have towards tupac & get the truth from his family
      Also, if I’m not wrong, Afeni apparently handled a lot of money (millions) with Black Panthers according to the doc, I don’t see why she would falter with the estate over money. I think she just genuinely didn’t like Billy.

    I don't think there is much new to learn about Pac. But this doc did the best job of being immersive. I've watched many docs but never felt drawn into the situations like with Dear Mama. Glo is such a dynamic spirit. That familial flame burns within her. Allen had to get it right because All Eyez were on him.

Tupac himself barely mentioned it because he didn't want people to think he was doing it to just sell records..     I think it’s fake that the Hughes made a documentary on Tupac’s life and his mother. Tupac didn’t like them. Making money off a dead man that went to his grave not liking the Hughes. He got like 11 days in jail for kicking their asses. It makes me mad 😡

    The father hit it right on the head as the reason why I don’t have any desire to see this documentary! The Hughes brother didn’t like Pac - so what could these two dudes bring to this documentary about Pac and his mother? Trust me- it was not done out of love! I believe that it was solely done for monetary reasons and to reinsert themselves as being part of his legacy - as well to insert some underhanded comments about the man Tupac Shakur (as well as his biological father) while simultaneously projecting/promoting the unrighteous agenda that is occurring in our society today! Tupac was not with the bullshyt when he was alive and he damn sure wouldn’t be with the bullshyt that going on in this present time!

      What I find interesting is this. Afeni said the man was dead. As wrong as it is, since I believe that if a father is not deserving to be around his kids, they should at least know he is alive, I find it weird that no one wants to consider the fact that Afeni could have had a good reason to not want this man in the life of their son. We know nothing of what kind of person he was in his youth.

      He is not saying anything new, just giving his opinion. He didn't look for Tupac until he was adult. We already know that. They all were in the black panther party, we know. Afeni told Tupac another guy was his dad we know. Mutual Shakur was his step father that raised him, we know. He is basically mad and upset that he don't have a lot of memories with his son.

    Billy should have been there for Pac and he would have been very much alive because he just seems to be so smart and outspoken. I see where Tupac got his personality from. Afeni should have told Pac the truth and allowed him to see his father. It made so much sense to why Tupac wrote poems, had so much to say and the fact that he told his father that he felt he was different from his siblings when he was in jail. The Huge Brothers never cared about Tupac at all. It made sense.

    The Hughes brothers did an excellent job with that documentary. It told the full story. the good bad and not so good details of Tupac’s life.
    One of Tupac’s last interviews he mentioned his regret regarding his actions towards the Hughes brothers. He took accountability like a man and said he wanted to make things right, but he didn’t get the chance.

      Think he admitted that he didn’t do what he should’ve done in not reaching for him but he lied about Afeni taking him out of NYC at 3. He last saw Pac at 5 but between 1976-85, no attempt to reach him. Baltimore, where the Shakur family moved to in 85, was also not too far from NYC. Pac was 17 when they moved to Marin City and by then he and Afeni were already estranged. All the while this guy was a no-show. So he can’t claim Afeni did all of that. Crazy thing is that I bet BILLY was the offspring of an absentee father himself. History repeats itself.
