Excellent unboxing, for some reason reminded me of combat commander series. Looks an awesome game and so many cards. I hope its available this side of the pond, although heavy games normally means expensive. Also like the rule book, far better these days than reading twenty plus pages of written word. Looking forward to a play through.
Thanks for doing this - I'm really looking forward to receiving my copy. I do wish LNL would've included the spiral manual as an option on their Kickstarter - or even as a stretch goal...but that's minor point really. I've had a LNL kickstarter game (WaW85) and the content was astounding for the price. As soon as the spiral bound book becomes available at a store where postage does not cost more than the item, I'll buy it. They're great additional items to have.
Reminds me of Up Front. Remember Rik Falch and his Up Front kickstarter thievery? The one where he moved to Australia with everyone's money $340k worth. This looks like it could be the deliverable. I wonder how it compares to Up Front.
@@ThePlayersAid That was just a visceral reaction upon seeing so many cards. I'll make the actual value judgement on sleeving when I see the final product :).
I wish you'd zoomed the camera in to see the card graphics. It looks like an interesting game, but I'd probably have to sell a kidney to be able to buy it here in Canada.
@@thegrogshed The Gimpy Gamer's RUclips channel has a series of "Bootcamp" videos which explain how the game is played and what is on the cards. 47 videos currently. I would watch The Player's Aid first, to see if it looks enjoyable to you.
Fields of Fire would've been my favourite game of all time if it wasn't for the fiddliness and relentless chart hunting. Maybe this is the game for me.
Hmmm excuse the sceptic but the immediate impression is that this is another LnL big mess of a game avec the usual ridiculous rules overhead. Sometimes you wanna roll high, sometimes you wanna roll low, sometimes high units stats are good, sometimes low unit stats are good etc. etc. Fingers crossed that they've focussed things down a bit. It's not helping that they still put their fat old friends into the game and box art though. Looking forward to the review!
English forces?Really get a grip! British forces.Ignorant comment by you on your vid' at the start although you then referred to British forces when reviewing the cards later on.Perhaps you have been in the good old USA for too long.😞

I think Point Blank really needs a neoprene play mat. Really, really needs it!

Great preview - looks interesting - V for Valid ; )
Thanks for the look. I can't wait for my copy to arrive! LnL does such a great job on their games!

This looks so fascinating. I want to play it!
Looks great. Any chance of a play through 🤔😁
Honestly yes. We're planning on it tonight!
Yet another must have I recon. Would love to see your review on this one. How does it compare to Fields of Fire? Pros and cons?
Honestly quite different. There's a full playthrough and a more detailed review coming soon!
@@ThePlayersAid Looking very much forward to it
I want Alexander to whisper Sturmgeschütz drei in my ear when i am laying in bed and cant sleep.
🥰
Looks like a warfighter clone. I'll be adding this game to my want list. =) Thanks for the review.
Genuinely VERY different. Very different kind of excellent.
@@ThePlayersAid cool. =)

Its different, but works well and has some similar feels as up front, yes.
Really looking forward to this one, but damn that's going to be a lot of sleeves lol
In fairness you only really need to sleeve the action deck and the terrain deck. Most other decks aren't regularly shuffled etc.

We're playing it today, and doing more content, and I'll do a better job of showing the cards etc.

And what's wrong with fat old friends?
Are you jealous because you have no friends, fat or otherwise?
None of my fat friends are pictured in the game. Every piece of art is a colorized photo from world war 2
It's the cost that will kill it for me.
This is Biden Time. I'm lucky I can afford to eat.
