When Jesus's corpeal body Died on the Cross He went to Heaven. He said to the theif on the cross next to Him, " this Day, you shall be with Me in Heaven." Then, three days later He came back and Reclaimed His corpeal body and went and visited His desiples.

If he hadn't risen from the dead Christianity would've died in the 1st century.
