It did nothing to him, but the guilt I felt at violating my own moral compass made me realize that cheating back is NEVER the answer. It's way better to remain faithful to yourself and just get a divorce.

It kind of frustrated me that none of that was included in the recap shown in the episode, because I’m pretty sure that happened… :/ Kids have always been a big thing for Michael (unless that was some fake storyline crafted by TLC, idk).

The abuser will use intermittent enforcement to continually keep the victim waiting for that release of good behaviour, vulnerability, and connectedness. And when you're in the thick of it you can't see the good days aren't worth the bad.

I completely stopped watching 90 days and all it's spin offs because I was only feeling anger from watching such a huge medium as TLC in a way sugar coating very serious abuse. Ever since Angela appeared I was just shocked by her behaviour and was asking myself "What if she was the male?" I don't think she would get renewed over and over again, I think the viewers would demand her off the cast. Another thing that is very sad is the complete lack of holding her accountable by the rest of the cast and host during tell all. Micheal is being treated like her personal emotionall punching bag, and people compliment her boob job... beyond words. Also look at this season, so far this is Angela's perspective, her husband exsists almost as an abstract character that we only hear about and see from her subjective point almost an addition to her story, which is also very unfair. I feel very bad for Micheal, I wish to see and hear more from him and his perspective.

But will say that the Instagram concern is a pretty common one-it’s jarring to be interested in someone and see them openly express romantic or sexual interest in another person, especially if there’s literally a visible record of that interest and pursuit, yet the other person passes it off as a joke or dismisses valid concerns about their investment in the relationship/mate poaching. Even though that does not justify her behavior and yeah it doesn’t take social media to cheat, social media has introduced an indisputable way of challenging someone’s sketchy behavior yet people will still try to gaslight each other into believing that it’s insignificant because it occurs online and hasn’t reached a point of materializing IRL (and yes, I do mean gaslighting in a clinical sense because there is digital, public documentation of communication patterns that would, at the very least, constitute a reasonable doubt).

I stopped watching Angela after the season with the cake. I decided to watch this to kind of "catch up" but second hand so I don't have to suffer through watching her. Like you said, a broken record. I'm annoyed that this is the content I have to watch, I don't want to watch this. I understand the premise of what reality tv shows are, but I wish they were better. This isn't good tv for me lol
Angela has had issues with Michael having any kind of social media from her very first visit in Nigeria. She was all kinds of pissed off that Michael had been receiving messages and follow requests from what she said was over a thousand attractive women, and he had apparently been actively following them. She was upset he didn’t have photos of her on his phone and had even gone so far as to grill his friends about his previous relationships as well as photos on his phone.
I don't get why she wouldn't just help him get the visa if she's wanting to stay married. If he is not giving her the attention she needs, she may be afraid if he comes here, he will just cheat on her and then she'll be stuck holding the bag/bills.

The first and only time Shaun said something bad about their relationship which was about them “being broken up”, Angela lost her mind. Since then Shaun treats Angela like she can’t do no wrong and Michael no matter what he does is the villain. It’s absolute disgusting and comes across slightly racist.

I stopped watching Angela after the season with the cake. I decided to watch this to kind of "catch up" but second hand so I don't have to suffer through watching her. Like you said, a broken record. I'm annoyed that this is the content I have to watch, I don't want to watch this. I understand the premise of what reality tv shows are, but I wish they were better. This isn't good tv for me lol
Angela has had issues with Michael having any kind of social media from her very first visit in Nigeria. She was all kinds of pissed off that Michael had been receiving messages and follow requests from what she said was over a thousand attractive women, and he had apparently been actively following them. She was upset he didn’t have photos of her on his phone and had even gone so far as to grill his friends about his previous relationships as well as photos on his phone.
I don't get why she wouldn't just help him get the visa if she's wanting to stay married. If he is not giving her the attention she needs, she may be afraid if he comes here, he will just cheat on her and then she'll be stuck holding the bag/bills.

I feel sorry for Angela. She seems so damaged. I think she desperately needs/wants love, attention, care, etc from partners but her behaviour when triggered turns men to turn cold towards her, or walk away from her.

Mike is probably a scammer but Angela is such a hideous person I am on Mike's side 100%.She is a mean loud mouth self centered and insecure bully. She expects you to obey everything she says and often what she says is mean and cruel and based off of her insecurities and often wild mood swings. You are expected to sit back and take it from her and be a verbal punching bag for her. Not doing so only makes it worse. Doing so makes her lose respect for you. Ironic she got a breast reduction only to get a breast augmentation less than a year later.
It did look kind of flat after the reduction so I think she was trying to please Michael.

Guess you haven't seen old droopy breasts that are long and swinging, especially after breastfeeding. So they removed all that old tissue and milk ducts through reduction. Then she wanted Bigger perky boobs which couldn't be created out if the old tissue, so that requires implants.

I don't think you showed the part when she said his behavior changed after they got married, and that is when he started contacting her only for money and to ask about the status of the visa. If that's true, I don't think the immorality is as one-sided as you think it is.
Not sure why, but I don’t have an issue with Angela’s behavior. She’s got some sort of past for sure, and as a result she’s a seeker. Definitely she should get some counseling and off the show, but I’m sure she also likes the little bit of income from doing the show itself. Bit of a catch 22 but I’m still rooting for her.
