They did a good job with this show honestly not to many shows can do what they have done the story is extremely captivating. Everytime I finished watching the entire show on the last episode I wanna restart and watch it all again .. not to many shows have been able to do that they usually fall off after a couple seasons ... but not this one
This song haunts me. I was a driver of a Stryker ICV in Afghanistan. When we relived the unit of their duties, I came upon an NCO that told me a story of a driver that died. He couldnt escape the driver hatch as the vehicle was engulfed in flames. A female medic rushed in, in a futile attempt to save him. She never came out alive. Her charred corpse, her arms were enveloped around the charred corpse of the driver. Stuck.

Live is my favorite way he does it. Seeing it live and I have many times is fantastic that and "Stagger Lee" If I had to compare Cave's music to anyone it's Leonard Cohen hands down.

I thought the 80s version of this song was good. Then Johnny Cash covered it and I thought that was even better. But Nick Cave outdid himself and Cash on this piano version. His vocals are so much more expressive than when he was younger. Better mixing probably as well.
