love Beas comments at the beginning of this episode when Bea is looking out of her cell window. 'Blimey there's more coppers out there then a kids money box' and then when Lizzie is moaning to Bea that she can't see out of the same window and Bea say's 'you can't see anything anyway it's darker out then Vera's heart'. Brilliant Bea's comments are always making me laugh.
She should have said, 'its as dark as Vera's heart. Vera hasn't got much of one! Only when it comes to Lizzy when she's not faking a heart attack. Then Bea calling Lizzy 'ya silly old trout ' 😅😅😅
@@Halfscotboy_39 Lizzie & Vera have some touching moments together, when Vera shows that she does have a heart, although it is hidden in a cold hard shell.
I love the way an ambulance turns up but instead of taking everyone who’s been shot to an actual hospital they just bundle them all off to the prison infirmary and call Greg Miller in to remove the bullets 😂 I’m surprised he didn’t give everyone a mild sedative
Love the fact that Jim goes to see Erica and her arm is bandaged around 8:00. She has blood coming through the bandages and it doesn't even get Jim's attention. I LOVE! this cheesy show.
What a fantastic episode. Geoff Butler is great character one of Prisoner's finest baddies. Leila is brilliant in her role. This is Prisoner's golden period over the next 80 episodes. And the next 400 are pretty special too.
I liked it from mid 40’s the arrival of Jim and him getting that reward money but sad when Eddi died then mcnally comes and dies she was a good character Ross was annoying also this episode was the start of the next season you can tell Jim’s hair is lighter and the picture is different
I like they way he ( assumadly) hires a 6 series BMW too keep up his fake job front. It's by far one of the most expensive cars in Prisoner, You 'could've bought 3 or 4 of those Ford LTDs that Stuart Gillespie drove for that money. Yet Geoff stalks Meg in his own car, an old Ford Falcon ( & dives like a dick, over revving " WELL, I'M MAD") Micheal Simpson is good too, a timid, reluctant partner.
00:15 I love how the front guard doesn't appear at all phased or alarmed that the Governor shows up at the prison with a bunch of cops and sirens blazing.... "Oh, it's just you Mrs. Davidson." LMAO! 6:15 The Fletchers have only gone back together for a few weeks and already they are nagging at each other. 40: Meg sure knows how to pick 'em
at 29:40 Vera gets up and asks does anyone want any more coffee? how ironic I wonder if anyone's clean. The urn.. Meg claims that she still dead tired.. :)
Must of been when Jeff stopped for coffee but they never showed intimate scenes of them not even kissing I think Greg and Karen used the kissing budget lol
Every time I hear Jim Smilie as the radio announcer I can't help but wish he'd been a repeat actor on the show. Love how Geoff storms out of the house with his drink in his hand, picking up his bag on the way - and loses it on his way to Meg's. Leila should have played ignorant with him.
Ray is brilliant in Baddie roles like these 👍 like him in Prisoner check him out as "Bob Temple" in 1985's Great Bookie Robbery which also features Andy Anderson too, top stuff!👍🔥
Erica, your prison hasn't got the security to hold ANY prisoner. Thinks back to Frankie, Doreen and Lizzie. The detective was spot on with his lolly water comment.
Where do Jim and his wife keep their children lol they never have them and how much stuff did she put in their coffee they went out like lights.... I love it can't stop watching :)
That's what they do with the babies and small children on American soaps. They bring them out of their bedrooms and have scenes and back to bed they go. No normal things like nappy changes or getting spit up off a clean shirt or a pair of clean trousers. Then when the child gets older they send them to boarding school and they come home a year later as a sixteen year old.
36:30 The fact Geoff can't take no for answer should be a huge red flag. Had he done what he did, tried worming his way into my apartment, I'd have started screaming at the top of my lungs. I knew something was off about that guy,
Officer Edwards played by Dawn Klingberg, had many different notable & memorable roles during the run of the series. Along with Officer Edwards, she played Officer Carter, Officer no name, Mrs. Graham (Daphne Grahams mother), Jen, Woman (who alerted police when Roz was helping the heart attack dero), and my favorite...Ellen the heroin addict who Judy couldn't get to do anything at the first Driscoll House she ran. She also played a couple other noncredited roles as well. I've said it before that "Prisoner" is famous for recycling cast members for different roles.
Lizzie describing the police officer, Marshall, who interviewed her as rat poison with boots on, and then calling the Dominguez woman as the Dominique's woman. 😄😃
Loving the show, this was another cracking episode! Ray Meagher is really warming up now, this is when his acting is so great to watch! Chrissie is just a two faced tart and I hope Ros gets revenge on her. Shame the story around Janet didn't go on for longer as it was so suspenseful, but I guess her character was always going to be short and sweet due to the nature of it.
I know what it's like to have a husband who came home with men that you didn't like. I don't drive so I would grab my daughter, ring a cab and take off to a friend's or my parents place.
I don't know if you're at the Lorelei Wilkerson ( Paula Duncan) episodes yet but her scenes are like that. No bra or anything, and she just had a baby in real life at the time.

Yes the guitar intro is different as are the drums near the end. I also liked the different ending they used in Episode 79 when Greg had that weird flashback at the hospital.
I knew this Geoff guy was a lunatic from the first from his extremist views on punishment of terrorists. How could Meg have missed that? Plus, he's not got the least charm, like Greg.
His views weren't extremist in the slightest? I suppose you're one of those people who thinks terrorists should be "understood" and empathised with, because they weren't hugged enough by mummy and daddy when they were growing up?
Lovely and slightly different version of of the instrumental end credit theme tune, I’ve noticed about three different performances of the tune so far. Why do they change occasionally?
Yeah and it's always in stark contrast to the savagery going on in some of the scenes. Here, Butler ends the episodes with a smashed bottle wanting to glass Jim and Meg and then we get what is probably the most beautiful rendition of He Used to Give Me Roses.....lol
No one's going to talk about the fact that Erica stands there blankly staring at them for about 15 seconds straight. Trying to stand still like this is target practice or something. Hilarious. I love this show. They don't make 'em like they used to.. Though I like the re-imaging of this show, Wentworth. I only wish they did more of Bea's story in PCBH, like they did in Wentworth!
