Hi - x - Xebec employee here. I worked for the Animation studio roughly 8 years after they finished work on Zoids. My former boss was one of the 3D animators during that time. I got a bit of trivia to share: Zoids was the traditional studio's first project to go and use 3D Animation which was new tech at the time. They were using Softimage 3D, and the staff were so enamored with the tech, that they decided to incorporate some terminology into the story. The Organoids Ambient, Specular and Shadow are named after 3 of the 4 parts of a basic 3D Material Shader. (Diffuse being the 4th). Zeke was the only story exception to this naming convention. Because of what the anime, meant to me as a kid, and to my career - I'm pretty interested to collect a number of the 90s era Zoid Kits. Perhaps some HMMs as well.
yeah i'm currently looking for the Geno Saurer kits now....lol. if this company wants to print money they would release the full Geno Saurer line x) the demand is so high, and the community it so unreasonably stingy with the pricing on kits.
I didn’t know this model would get so pricey. I had 2 boxes and built both (bc I just love the building process) and eventually got rid of one of them. I still remember when the raven ver. was much pricier than the psycho & genobreaker version.
So fragile and i’m not sold on the parts sticking to each other. I feel like glue needs to be involved I wish they made a Tomy version of this geno saurer
Nice video and information mate, hmm will be doing the geno saurer 2021 and so happy I missed out last year so 2nd chance thank god, i have the geno breaker and took so long to make and must say you have to use glue for the key parts to make it stand well, when I make the geno saurer I know it won't take long to finish making it cheers
Nice review man, but I must note that the side weapons are projectors not missile launchers. Very good kit I have one too which is one of my favorites.
To be very honest I'm not a fan of these ones, the pieces feel so cheap and they break with almost no effort with my experience… I have the tiny command wolf and part of the neck snapped thankfully it doesn't affect the movement but still…I have the Hasbro Energy Liger and that thing is a tank. And the plastic is way more durable.

Lise figure is a bit overpriced too.
