Eyelet Mug Rug Kickincrochet

In the second pattern of the Mug Rug Trio, we're making a mug rug using eyelet crochet. It's very similar to the moss stitch, but comes out with a slightly different look - check it out!

Very pretty. I’m a beginner, you didn’t mention what type of yarn you used and the size of the hook.
Is cotton better than regular yarn?

You could use any type of yarn, but if you're going to put anything really hot on it, cotton will not melt like some man-made fibers can.

Love this rug, but for a beginner it is way too fast. Also it is hard to see, where exactly you insert the hook. But the pattern is worth a try, thank you🙏👍
