Great tips here. Especially regarding the pinking shears and sandpaper. I can certainly see the value of these. Washing fabrics before cutting is a core belief for me. Had not thought about the chemical issues but the dye bleed and shrinking potential of fabrics needs to be dealt with before cutting, at least for me. Now to run to the hardware store. Thanks so much!
