Your tips are awesome! I’m 70 years old and began playing pool four years ago. Hadn’t played prior to that and I get a lot from your channel. Thank you!
8:28 Tip 17 is a really good one. This is something I've been realising a lot recently. It's really important to work on your technique in practice. But in a game, I find it's just a distraction...the more I think about technique in a match, the more I miss. Focus on the line of the shot and trust that the work you've done in practice will come through.
It’s the 1 thing I can point to as something that definitely that improved my game. Other times I seemed to take a noticeable step forward I didn’t know what the reason for it was
So much insight packed into such a quick video. I really like the advice not to over think your cue action or worry about unwanted side, and just focus on lining up the shot. Excellent points about moving the body and bridge hand on the shot, too.
Just wanted to say thanks for the videos. I've always played sort of on instinct and done...ok... Today I didn't just watch, I played! Remarkable difference just by walking into the shot and visualising playing the cue ball onto the object ball. Thanks!!
The pre shot routine has helped me massively. When watching snooker on tv, the easiest one to remember is mark selbys. Points at the cue ball, goes back and forwards twice and plays the shot. I used his for mine cause it’s so regimented and helped me to calm down on the shot as well.
I’m Adam, I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I like them and I’ve subscribed cause it’s helped me with my games, I’m from Strabane N.Ireland
anyone else noticed that he shot the points for example on tip 11 he shot the blue ball and pink? anyway good video as always ive improved alot from watching your videos
Hi ive been watching your videos and they have been helping me. But i still need to lean how position my next shot. I am ok with the pots but cant get it to the right position to pot the next colour. What can i do? Do you ever do one to one training? If so i would be up for that. Regards Vince
Can u explain basic side spin shots of the Blue one cushion check-side for pink,Blue 1-2 cushion for pink & prime position for reds, and how would the aiming change as per the shot requirement of using side... Uday kumar-Chennai(India)
Hi. My name is Anderson but my friends call me Andy or Andrew. I'm from Santa Tecla, El Salvador, I like your videos but here in El Salvador we don't play snooker, it's not popular but I hope someday I could travel to England and play some matches!
Obviously it helps you reach a greater number of shots. On standard shots however you can be a bit too far above the table making it harder to get down to every shot. I would say that 5’ 9” to 6’ is probably optimum but I know players who are far better than I am even though they are around 4’6”
This is the most useful - not to say most droll - snooker coaching channel I've found. But (I can't be the first to point this out) your snooker room looks like the sort of place a serial killer chains his victims to the radiators?
Everyone keeps saying that but there is only one table I play on that’s tighter during my entire league season. And I play in 3 different leagues. It isn’t as tight as star tables but before I had it reclothed the pocket were a lot bigger
I had improved my snooker skills for some extent by your channel... But not able to be play an accurate shots..... And can I get a pin from Gokak,Karnataka, india.🙏
Hmm don't think so 6ft table usually only has 10 reds so 107 is the highest break. I once made 105 on a 6ft table. 9 reds with black and 1 red with blue.
Clearly had nothing to do with it. Just like the 20 Snooker tips and tricks I will inevitability make next year will have nothing to do with any games out next year
ok who else took way too long to realise that the balls being potted between tips added up to the same number of points as the tips number? 13 before i noticed
It’s a difficult job but someone’s got to do it. Though someone has been in touch wanting me to help promote there new Snooker game there developing. Sounds good at this stage anyway
The worst thing was I had 3 goes at that and that was the best attempt. I don’t think plastic Christmas baubles were meant to be used on a snooker table
Loving the content, but dude, you're so bad at pronouncing names 😂😂 I don't think anyone would mind and they are probably just happy to get the shout out. Makes me laugh everytime.. tip 19 is the most effective if you think about it

I hope you're progressing nicely in ability John!

Just to let you know the tip about imagining the line of the shot back and putting your leg on it is gold! Wish someone had told me this years ago.

Hello i am from pakistan,
Doing better day by day after watching your videos,
does height matters while playing snooker?????
Obviously it helps you reach a greater number of shots. On standard shots however you can be a bit too far above the table making it harder to get down to every shot. I would say that 5’ 9” to 6’ is probably optimum but I know players who are far better than I am even though they are around 4’6”
Break from life any tips for people of short height in stance and execution of shots?
What was into your mind when you were adding that thing on the number of the advices?

This is the most useful - not to say most droll - snooker coaching channel I've found. But (I can't be the first to point this out) your snooker room looks like the sort of place a serial killer chains his victims to the radiators?
Because it is. He chains the people who beat him
great for begginers .... but the size of those pockets lol.... biggest pockets ive seen on a snooker table lol , but still good advice .
Everyone keeps saying that but there is only one table I play on that’s tighter during my entire league season. And I play in 3 different leagues. It isn’t as tight as star tables but before I had it reclothed the pocket were a lot bigger

Ok might be second comment but i fought id include my name, John From adelaide australia :)

I have a 6ft snooker table at home and I made a break 139
Hmm don't think so 6ft table usually only has 10 reds so 107 is the highest break. I once made 105 on a 6ft table. 9 reds with black and 1 red with blue.
