My 24 year old daughter wore Fantasy every single day throughout high school. Now that she is married, and has moved on to Si, I occasionally spray her last bottle, in her old bedroom, for a happy scent memory. It really is pretty. My own high school scent was Ciara, and a no name lily of the valley. I would have loved a Brittany Spears perfume in the early 70’s! My best friend wore Charlie😊

That is so sweet! I recently found some old bottles of cologne and aftershave in my husband’s storage trunk that I bought him in high school. Now our seven year old loves wearing them and he’s a mini of my husband. It’s so cute.
Sounds like me 😁 I'm turning 24 this year. And I wore original Fantasy like crazy when I was 16/17. And I've recently had a bottle, I love it so much. Brings back memories from that time.
I also wear Si a lot from Armani, it's a more sexy, womanly (?) scent. More grown up than Fantasy.
But I love Fantasy just as much, just got the new Rainbow Fantasy, similar to original one 😊
The scent of the original Fantasy makes me nostalgic and is so cosy.

Fantasy is the most iconic celebrity perfume ever. It smells so great, I really Love It. My favorites are Rocker Femme Fantasy, and Fantasy.

@@Ro-lx2fc not at all! Both are Sweet, but Rocker Femme is more Sweet, cream. Smells like chantilly. If u wanna something more like Fantasy, you should try intimate Fantasy.
@@kidebatista6043 I wanted Fantasy due to its sweetness and longetivity but I heard there is a reformulation that made the sour kiwi more pronounced. The Fantasy intimate sounds like an alternative but only a few Fantasy lines are avail in my country and one of them is Rocker Femme. I really like sweet perfumes such as Meow! by Katy Perry but unfortunately that doesn't last long. May I know how long does Rocker Femme lasts?
Fantasy will always have a spot in my collection, even if I could only choose 5 for the rest of my life. It’s a LEGENDARY gourmand celebrity scent.
They’re very unique honestly considering she basically created that DNA in celebrity scents.

@@pd-nv6jv yeah, good silliage and lasted 3 hours. I had a 50ml bottle and carried it in my bag so i could reapply at lunch time. The bottle lasted me more than 6 months, so great value for $$
Britney's perfumes are so underrated. I've got Midnight fantasy, rocker Femme fantasy, Maui Fantasy, naughty mix, nice mix, private show, and curious control. They all smell great!!

I just started collecting perfume instead of body mists. Midnight fantasy was one of my first purchases and in fact I have it on right now. It smells lovely. I really enjoy the plumb note!

I've had Intimate Fantasy (which was nice but I wouldn't buy it again), Midnight Fantasy (again, nice scent but probably wouldn't repurchase) and of course the original Fantasy. I've repurchased it many times since I was 16 or 17 (I'm 23 now). And I love it, it brings back good memories and feelings for me. Some people say it's a teenagers perfume, since it's so heavily sweet and girly, but I don't care. I'll buy it again in the future, I've got many compliments while wearing it through the years 😍
During the holidays I purchased her new 2019 Fantasy perfume called "Rainbow Fantasy" (must correct myself, I got it as one of my Christmas gifts from my boyfriend but I got to choose which perfume I wanted, was so happy they had it in stock!) And it's my second favorite after original Fantasy 😁
It's the most similar to the original Fantasy out of the Fantasy range I think, so it's mostly sweet. But it does have som freshness to it which is nice.
The Fantasy perfumes lasts for a few hours on me (besides the white one, the Intimate one, I have to spray that many times during the day) but I can feel the scent from it lingering on my clothes for a long time.
Shure it doesn't last all day (I think the original Fantasy lasts a little bit longer than the Rainbow Fantasy, but not much difference, about the same time) but the scent is lovely and wonderful if you like sweet perfumes and it's a very good priced perfume, I got the Rainbow Fantasy on sale for 250 Swedish crowns which is like $25. The original price for the 30 ml bottle that I got is 350 Swedish crowns ($35) so it's still very affordable for a perfume 😍😊

Can I just say that pretty much every perfume except lady gaga fame I have searched for I have found your channel! You make it so easy to watch because you explain what each perfume smells like - instead of most people who just tell us the notes and expect us to know what that is xD. Britney Spears does have some surprisingly nice perfumes (no shade, I just never have high hopes for celebrity perfumes lol); I never realized how many she made though! The first perfume I ever got was the original Curious, and I _loved_ it. It was my signature scent throughout high school and college =)

Use to think midnight fantasy smelt like a car airfreshner thing that you hang from the mirror so never wore it or gave it a proper go, but now after watching reviews and wearing it knowing the notes I'm actually liking it, think my nose taste has changed:)

I'm a huge Britney fan and I'm starting to buy her perfumes (I've only bought one till now) and it's been very hard to choose. I'm Brazilian, so it's VERY hot here, so I want a perfume for hot weather. I bought Island Fantasy, but unfortunately I didn't like it. Now I'm thinking about buying Maui Fantasy.
I've been struggling to understand the difference between Island and Maui (and perhaps Sunset) since they're both beachy, island, fresher fragrances. It'd be very very helpful if you could explain how they actually differ even though they target the same thing.
Midnight Fantasy is delicious, smells like sweet berries / high end hair treatment lol I love it💜 I'm half way through the 100 ml bottle and have a lot of perfumes and body mists, so that says a lot😂

I wish I could smell the cupcake and the white chocolate because those two notes are a dream for anyone that loves sweet/gourmand perfumes but the original Fantasy smell so fruity on me 😭 all I can smell is sugary kiwi and litchi notes, between the intimate edition and the rocker femme, which one smells like a creamy dessert/cupcake? :( pls help

Fantasy original smells like candy straight up candy and it’s strong really strong don’t no what she is on about it doesn’t smell like a cup cake and it lasts a lot longer than 3 hours she has got this totally wrong. It was so popular when it came out expecially for school students. Very good value for money

I love Britney Spears perfumes. I don’t have as many as I would like but I have a fantasy stage addition which I have heard smells like the original fantasy formula. I also have midnight fantasy which is my absolute favorite out of the ones I own of hers and I have sunset fantasy which is really nice. Out of the Fantasy range I have private show and VIP private show. Oh yeah I forgot I have island fantasy in a body spray and it smells nice and tropical. I love the way you describe perfumes. A lot of people on RUclips who review different fragrances aren’t as good. I love collecting perfume and you helped me make decisions regarding fragrances I would like.

At Ross I recently got the Jungle Fantasy 100ML, Fantasy Sheer 100ML and Fantasy Sheer 100ML and paid $19.99 each.
I also got Curious and Midnight Fantasy in the 50ML for $10.99 each.

When I tested Fantasy at Walmart it smelled woody and sour and not sweet at all. I’m wondering if it was old

Fantasy will always be my favorite perfumes! I prefer intimate fantasy over the original anyway, the original just has a note in there that screams cheap to me. However, her more floral type of fragrances always smell expensive

Have you smelled these yourself or are you just reading the notes? Because Fantasy isn't cupcake like (sorry gourmand-lovers!) it's very dominately bright fruity sweetness.
the older fantasy was a very sweet vanilla cupcake, but the new formulation is sour and fruity

I absolutely LOVED Fantasy as a teen/20-something! (I also loved Paris Hilton for women.) I haven't smelled it in years, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I actually had no idea there were so many variations!
As a mid-30s woman, these days I adore YSL Black Opium. It reminds me of Fantasy.. like a more grown-up & complex version. It's a sweet gourmand, but not nauseatingly so. Do you like that one?

Question, do you think that perfume go bad the longer it sits on shelves at stores and do you think you get a better scent ordering a perfume from on the original website? I wish I could get a perfume like hours after it was just made lol. I bet it smells great lol. I dont know maybe it dont have any difference just a silly question😄. Haha go for it! They’re so cheap as well. So perfume degrades in sunlight not really with time. So as long as it’s in the box or out of sunlight it should be fine. Also the seller shouldn’t make a difference as they will all be made in the same place...

I love my designer perfumes and I have a good bunch. But I don’t mind a handful of celeb perfumes like Brittany and I use them more like body mist. Nikki minaj fragrance are very nice too, fruity fresh smell

The regular fantasy doesnt smell like it used to my ex boyfriend mom used to wear it all the time and it smelled good i bought it today eww gave me a headace smells like a old lady woody musky scent dry down was a sickening vanilla

@@SokiLondon I see, thank you! I was kinda worried but I think I might need to wait until the stores in my country allow testers (they can't due to pandemic) to check out the smell. There is also that dilemma whether to choose Fantasy or Rocker Femme fantasy. I'm also interested in Maui due to the hot weather here, but my nose doesn't take certain smells well sometimes. I really appreciate the videos talking about perfume lines as it helps me decide which ones I should take note of!

Blind bought thr original fantasy. It was a perfume i LOVED growing up! So sweet and delicious. However now it smells like soap to me and the drydown smells like B.O on my wrists! It also irritated my skin! Strange. Anyone else had this experience. Bought it from a local pharmacy so definitely not a fake product!
They reformulated it unfortunately, it's not the same scent anymore.
