Shturmoviki are fine CQC units, the ROKS is amongst the very best there is. In dense woods they're total monsters and absolutely worth the 30 pts. The Finn's Suomis are the best SMG in the game (with the Beretta). Not only are they fast-firing and accurate, they have 150m range. On top of allowing them to shoot more often, they become even more accurate at 100m due to accuracy scaling with range. That IL-2-37 at the end, obviously there was a lot of AA so it didn't matter in that case. But what you often want to do with these is turn the bombs off so they use their 37mm AP guns to destroy tanks, especially if you get a flanking run. Bombs can still be nice, but they get used as a priority by the targeting AI of the unit. For some reason, the IL-2-37 with bombs have a better availability than the IL-2-37 without bombs.
Fun Fact! The Sturmi has 95mm of armor, since the finns were adding concerete to the front, so thats why penning it might seen harder than usual.
