- Ashis, a consultant civil engineer and part time social worker built his dream home without a single column of reinforced cement concrete. His home is fiercely independent when it comes to water. Ashis stores rain water and uses it round the year for drinking, Every drop of water used in the house is treated and reused. How did Ashis achieve this feat? I have a few queries that anyone can answer:
1. Ashis has built a tank to collect rain water. The capacity he has mentioned is 45000 litre. Does water will be clean and can be used for the whole year around? I just want to make sure if the water can be stored for a year without contamination?
2. How often one need to clean this big tank?
3. Can the rain water be directly used for bathing as Ashis and his family is using?
