This is not his idea I have seen this kind of video couple of years before related to a Bangladeshi man who were using a Pepsi 2 litre pet bottle means recycling method. He cut whole bottle in two part and fix one by one upon each other cap side inside house. This system keeping temperature 5 degree cooler inside room.

What about salty water soon pores will be clogged so efficiency will decrease and we need to change whole set per 2 months I guess. However it's good but if used on community basis.

This AC requires continuous supply of water flow , therefore water needs to be pumped continuously which requires a lot of Electricity . So , it puts me in doubt whether it is Energy efficient?
But do not secret cfc
A small pump is needed , much efficient than an AC or even cooler.

@@gauravkulkarni6284 I don't think so if the air temperature is decreasing it will be because of evaporation.
Yes it requires water(not drinking water hence the problem can be overlooked and we can also reuse the already pored water because objective is to dampen the pots) but it is solution to global warming which AC's usually cause(please see the principal behind an AC to know what I mean.)
So we have two options to save wastage of water
1.install a water harvesting system below it...which can be purified and used later
2.or just collect that water in big container. It can be used in washing... Cleaning... Watering plants etc
We can also grow plants below it so all the water can be used for irrigation...

Nothing but a cooler. AC is much more than this, in fact reverse of this. It controls humidity and cools air at same time. So no, this can not replace AC also because it needs constant water flow which require electricity.
Over use of AC will damage health 😂. Cooler is ok than AC

- By increasing its void ratio in it by using sulfonates hydrocarbon or other's
- By increasing its length and make it in zig zag path or a snake like structure
- By making output whole more narrower
& Also try to assemble in a honeycomb pattern that make's a less blank space in it and a water can pass by touching every part of it ...
can the pattern be rectangular as well?

But this won't work in residential complex
There is nothing so much like " mitti ka ac" , he has just copied the way a cooler works....and his idea is not supported by a rotating fan blade as it relies on air coming from outside. This idea has not even a slight advantage over placing the cooler mesh on yiur window and keeping them constantly wet .
Yeah but people who don't have knowledge talks like he has done a big innovation. It will cause low carbon footprint only when no fans or pump will be used. But then natural air circulation is necessary.

@@youtubedekho5939 Use some brain. They won the "low carbon lifestyle challenge" by UN because it gives some cooling effect without any carbon footprint if no fans and pump are used. But that doesn't mean it will work like AC or replace the cooling system because it is useless without a water pump and draft fan. So ultimately it will give carbon footprint like a dessert cooler only. It's so funny that people call it AC.

We need large amount of water to cool the small area because water will evaporate very quickly in open surface area and it will become another source of water wastage, we are already loosing lots of water in the name of RO water purifier. This could be a good option in small town but not in metro city..
This also promotes lots of moisture which will lead to fungus inside pots, moreover these mid pots can't be decompose easily & so ARE NOT ECO FRIENDLY.
So you mean ....ac is eco friendly??

It's creepy to look at, especially if you have trypophobia. And how is it environment friendly if you always have to pump water on top of it? Pumping water requires electricity which comes from diesel or hydro-electric powerplants.
This is the principle of the very conventional Indian Room Cooler (aka cooler) that uses khus-khus and a motor, and is used in almost every middle class Indian household in Summers. The basic cooling is gained from evaporative effect of water in both cases. Is there any specific benefit that is gained from using terracotta rather than khus-khus?
I do not see additional benefits and it is also not easy to use like desi cooler. Desi cooler you can move in the room.But moving this system seems like uneasy. It is good for satisfaction
Stupid idea. Main drawbacks are 1.these soil structures are not durable. 2. soil is limited and once after a mud is burned then it can't be used again. 3. Water is also not in abundant...... instead AC can be run on electricity produced by renewable sources... And material used in making ac like copper, iron etc can be recycled easily.
