Thanks! 4 years after posting and still being 'discovered'! Ha! Great lesson, now I have to subscribe because I just saw Lager and Ale on the side1 Yeehaw!
For the intro, Kim actually plays an F# note as well (4th fret on D string) before playing the A chord, he has a video on his Q107 channel showing how he plays the intro. The rest is pretty good! Thanks.
great, but wrong chords for the F and slide to G. Should be F,C, D across the E A D strings up to GD and A. They are not just 5th power chords, as you are playing there.
I am CANADIAN and Kim Mitchell rocks! This song is so much damned fun to play! Thx for an excellent lesson!

Don't be afraid to put up some Max Webster lessons too. = ] haha.
A compressor will let your notes ring longer, but it will add some noise to your signal. You can look up MXR Dyna Comp here on RUclips.
For some reason that Asus chord always sounds skanky when I play it, regardless or which guitar I use...gonna' have to work on that...

good lesson but not exactly how kim teaches it on his youtube channel!
