This video is NEXT LEVEL! Patina to the Moon 🚀 Love this docustyle approach to an individual car. Every car has a beautiful story 😊 Thanks for sharing this one!
Just like the other "dedicated" video you guys did for the S72 this one also sets a new level for this Merc game. We've seen nice Mercedes here and there but nobody really showed these cars like you as Vico said in one of your videos. Insane knowledge about the rarest cars and this whole palm tree/ florida background gives a whole different vibe to it. I'm watching every one of your videos religiously. Patina quality this time again. As a multiple Mercedes owner myself I want to thank you guys in the name of the community for this type of work. We've seen channels , trends come and go in 5 years but I really wish you guys success and longevity. Real humble dudes always react to comments and keep the contact with the fans. I really hope I can visit you guys in the museum one day ! Shout out from Europe !
that BBS Mahle fits the G soo well, it looks rugged and yet soo sporty. Mega content as usual from the Patina gang, this is what passion is all about. No talk about prices or anything vulgar like that, just pure history and the love and passion for vintage AMG's. Keep on keeping on man. You are doing AMG the justice it deserves
This is worthy of a Patina Collective+ streaming subscription fee, and right outta the gates! More high production dispatches from the Kingdom just like this please :)
Wonderful video! Well done guys,. You set a new standard with this video and from now on this is how the videos should look like. Amazing story! Priceless appearance by Mr. Lendl!
what a great documentary. My father purchased a land-mine damaged military G-Wagen in 1982 from the British Army having been to the Falklands. He brought it back to the UK to restore it before shipping it out to the USA when he moved to Indiana in 1984. It followed him to Michigan where he sold it to a friend and collector of military vehicles. Years later he bought it back when he moved to California where it stayed until around ten years ago when he sold it to a Canadian Film vehicle Company. I remember visiting Michigan as a kid in the late 80's and nobody knowing what it was, or presuming it was a modified Defender! So unusual, especially being LWB rag top with riffle racks!
Whoa! Ivan Lendl. 🎾 Man i remember watching the match when he beat McEnroe as a kid. I can't believe you flew him ✈ into PC headquarters. He sure looks different. Crazy story that makes for a Priceless whip
Amazing episode, great format - lots of research and editing went into it. Really enjoyed the story, this car has such a interesting history - It is likely one of the very first if not the first AMG G wagons brought to the USA. Imagine all the people that we're influenced by it from 1984-93 when Ivan & Warren drove around the country in it. Lovely car, great people, its a piece of history.
I luv your videos Vico and Daniel! Your Mercedes collection of exclusive cars and oldtimers is outstanding! What I wanted to ask yet is, if you can name some of the brands and models of the sunglasses that you are wearing? There's nothing better than driving a Mercedes convertible with some fancy shades on! Great videos!
I love this type of media they do with the British narrator like the very first videos they post , it’s a hella sharp contrast from the day to day blog
Excellent Program - thank you for sharing this with us! It makes me appreciate my ‘91 R129 500SL even more just knowing how much detail of the many German hands that designed (Bruno Sacco’s Team) and actually those who touched my vehicle before it was delivered here in the U.S.. Keep growing and delivering to us these one of a kind Mercedes videos. You’re a blessing to all of us Mercedes Benz owners. 🙏
Incredible episode! Love the narrator & this type of information being brought to the RUclips space; Very excited to see more of them, You guys are killing it 🏆
Epic Video!! - production is next level and exactly how we the car enthusiasts love a good story behind each cars individual history and especially when the past owners come on board & Hartmut himself from AMG's pre-merger days contributes. Even the story teller's voice & music choice etc is fitting in so perfectly with how doco's were produced in the 80's by the likes of Mercedes etc - you guys have nailed it - well done!!!
Cool video, I enjoyed it very much. I have not seen Ivan in a very long time. I'm Glad he is doing well and you guys got to have him join the journey. cheers
I follow you guys on a irregular basis from the beginning of this channel. You have now opened a new chapter and have raised the bar for future features. Congratulations. Very appealing. 👍

Love the w116 headlights, maybe with w123 would be good too, as they are taller and a bit narrower so a wider grille could fit, as a V8 that it just needs would keep cool
