Honestly, fusell is one of the most depressing villains cause he suffered from that explosion along with cursed immortality because of the lugion and worst of all he could see he has been suffering so much rage and loneliness and all he wanted was to kill himself. One of the most depressing villain stories ive heard of.
Agreed. Also ironic how he berated White and the others for their "use" of the Ellon, when the Ellon wanted to help them, when he just used the Lugion for his own ends due to their nature, as well as how he gave up so readily due to his long existence, and yet he failed to think of what right HE had just to end his existence but all life in the universe too with his plans? Just shows how his being so wrapped in his despair and madness made Fusell unable to see how he was no different than his people were. I love too how White shows he wanted to respect the Ellon's wishes to fight with him and the rest of the Bombermen to stop Fusell and save the universe.
It's kinda ironic how in a manner of speaking, his minions were using him to some degree.
I'm very impressed with blue bomber, he has more dialogues than the predecessor

Honestly, I was expecting them to continue the retellings of the older Super Bomberman games after the last one was basically Super Bomberman 3... I did not expect this.
......Damn. I....damn. This game's plot really went hard. Like.....GODDAMN. I was just expecting another retelling but this....just damn, son.

If you had told me years ago when Konami started making pachinko machines, that they would bring back Bomberman in this cartoonishly fun style and have a sequel's plot involving a Luma-like species and an antagonist with goals on par with Count Bleck, I'd have kissed you full on the mouth.
I don't ask for much from Konami anymore, but please please _please_ milk this robot cow's potential for all it's worth!
Is it just me, or is the story for this game far more depressing than the last one?
At least Fusell has a new purpose now.

This is probably the second most depressing bomberman story game after Bomberman 64: Second Attack
It seems to have the most story behind Bomberman The Second Attack. I find that to be interesting
I'm honestly disappointed that the game didn't have the dastardly bombers during story mode. Like, they were literally shown in the PROMOTIONAL ART!!! Doesn't that mean they would also be playable AND interacting with the main heroes because it makes the most sense?????
I'm sorry for my rant, I'm just purely disappointed that we were given the DB in promo art, and we just never got them in story mode.
Edit: However, I will give them credit for giving us in-depth sibling dynamics because they feel more realistic than the first game.

Yeah I’m with you on that on one hand The Dastardly Bombers are playable but on other hand they aren’t in story mode minus a cameo in the credits.
I thought they would appear somewhere in the story somewhere and eventually join the raid levels with the other 8 bombers tbh (Golem Bomber with his mech suit would be impossible though)
Also, why is kareoke there? Didn’t she transform back into pretty bomber?

They could have been supporting minor characters, but I agree I wish they were included.

I wonder if this game will get DLC just like the first game. I know in the first game’s DLC, they put in a few other Konami characters into the game.
Seeing as this game has 'seasons' like Bomberman R Online: I'm guessing more characters, musics, and customizations as well as balance patches will (hopefully) roll out periodically. My main concern is for how long they'll keep updating the game before they stop, like they did with the last 2 games...

To be honest.... I wish that Bomberman does have a mouth at some point since he talks. That would be a cool choice.
Trust me, there's many attempts.
And all of those didn't worked. Bomberman works way better without a mouth.

Here’s a another good idea, what if they made a DLC for Super Bomberman R 2, and they had 2 extra worlds, but they only had the 5 Dastardly Bombers make a return, and Buggler returns, making a revenge plan on the 5 Dastardly Bombers!

Aquastar makes me think of Aquarium Park, from both Sonic Colors and Sonic Colors: Ultimate, which are the predecessors to Sonic Generations.
