Thank you for this helpful video! I was able to repair my cell phone screen with its help.
I have two findings that are worth noting:
    - the antenna cables (on the right side of the screen) are easy to damage during step one (removal of the back cover, while prying off the glue). Do take caution on that side of the phone especially
    - the speaker on the top of the phone has metal contacts that are bent outwards, making them spring loaded against the circuit board. Do ensure the correct orientation when putting the speaker back down, so that these make contact for the speaker to work correctly.
And one more suggestion - After assembling everything together, but before gluing the back cover, turn the phone on and ensure everything works well (including reception, WiFi, Bluetooth and all sounds (calling and loud speaker)). It is easier to troubleshoot before it's all stuck together again.

Very helpful video. I have never cracked open a phone to replace the screen before and this video was a tremendous help. I would like to add however that if you are replacing JUST THE GLASS (and digitizer) *WITHOUT* the frame, MANY of these steps are unnecessary. Unfortunately the only snag I ran into when I took my phone apart was the vibration component. It would NOT come off. After trying many times it broke. I proceeded with the screen replacement only to realize I never had to touch that component in the first place. Oh well.

@@helgewolfs1655 I don't remember it to well but if you are replacing JUST the glass all you have to do is remove the battery so you can get to the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the upper logic board. It's really a bitch to get that battery out use a little rubbing alcohol, a heat gun, and/or set the phone somewhere it'll get nice and warm (I put mine on top of my surround sound receiver for about ten minutes and it got nice and toasty warm) and take your time getting the battery free from the glue. It's really really a pain in the ass. Once the battery is out use the tools to separate the glass from the front of the phone and you'll see from there what you need to do to replace it.
I got a glass kit on eBay that came with a couple tools to do the job and glue to glue shit back together. It was like $40 or so.

I replaced the screen and thought the process went smoothly. However, now the phone doesn't turn on. If it's plugged in, holding the power button will give me a small vibration -- presumably the phone's attempt at a reboot. But nothing else happens. Even when reattaching the old screen to the motherboard (said screen being fully functional before the repair, just thoroughly cracked), I get the same result.
I've tried reassembling a dozen times at this point and always get the same outcome. I've bought a replacement battery just to make sure I didn't damage the original during disassembly. Same outcome. I can't recall anything becoming damaged during the swap. So unless there was some sort of short circuit, I can't think of anything that could've gone wrong. Even excessively researching this specific behavior has yielding little. It seems to be something that only really happens to Moto and Oneplus phones, but I've yet to find a compelling explanation.
...I appreciate the video, though. Definitely couldn't have replaced the screen without it.

Hello Thank you, I successfully replaced Moto 5G one Ace with a new frame, the issue I am having now is the earpiece is not working, I can use the speaker, is the speaker easily blown? which direction should it go back in? At one point it work. I closed it and tried again before adding glue and earpiece did not work, with speaker on I heard a loud echo, not sure if it was because I had my laptop and cell close to it?
