Any update on iceland anyone? I heard that the rate of eq is increasing once again last night, especially in the exact location where the dike formed beneath grindavik on November 10
ground uplift below svartsengi has reached the lvl of november 10th and yes, seismicity in the dike area has been increasing during the last 24 hours, still very small quakes tho. next days gonna be interesting i think
They said that upper magma becomes solid and there is a new magma forming from underneath but even scientists are not so sure if there will be an eruption now or later this year
@@antonio39776 so the upper magma that become solid are getting crack because the new magma is pushing outward? Also i don't really think the upper magma are already solodifyng, since magma need 10 - 50 years to really become cold
Just a quick note there's been a couple of landslides here in Norway the last couple of days due to heavy rain. One guy in excavator that was called out to move a river got caught but managed to get out without without injuries. Not really uncommon here but just FYI @@GeologyHub
Keep up the good work you're awesome no doubt about it I look for any time you've updated something or put something on You're absolutely awesome thank you for sharing
I love your videos, when I was a young adult I got to meet the famous French Volcanologist Haroun Tazieff and he blew all our minds with his tales. I was wondering what is going on with the Volcano near Naples, Campi Flegrei, is the city in dire danger?
That's not happening, millions would die of starvation and following world war. But its definitely needed for several reasons For it to have any long therm effect it would lead to several years without summers and we cannot get along already.
What you said can only happen in your dream world. Global cooling volcano will affect crops on entire Earth and many diseases will spread because of favourable environment and worldwide famine will take place. Even a vei 7 eruption in Antarctica or Alaska will affect entire Earth.
"Hours ago, the Reykjanes volcano has erupted after a long anticipation" it's crazy that Reykjanes was on the watch and then layed-low then boom now here we are.
Cool & Informative! 3 New video Idea's. Can you make a video about 1. The Annapurna Mountain range in Nepal & the Devil's gorge, & 2. give us a vid about Mt Kailash In Tibet. Why is it black & the surrounding mountains brown. 3. Also make a video about the blackened peak of Jebel Al-Lawz in Saudi Arabia. Also know as the Mt. of Moses were he received the 10 Commandments. Title Suggestions - 1. Annapurna & The Devil's Gorge. 2 Mt Kailash The Mythical Mountain in Tibet. 3. Jebel Al-Lawz- The Mountain of Moses?.........I bet you'll get Millions of views. Just make sure to mention some of the Myth's & Legend's surrounding the sites.

If Yasur is the most active volcano, the least active must be Nosur.
So... if they found carbonated springs around Bromo... would they contain Bromo seltzer?
Santa's giving you coal for Christmas for that stinker
I was one of the 800k who climbed to the edge of Mt Bromo in 2018. Stunning to stand at the edge of such power.
Hey, we're almost back to 50!
I’m just glad to find out that Kip Dynamite has a successful career as a RUclips geologist.

Campi flegrei is calm and normal as usual
@@Vesuviusisking I read somewhere that one of the villages on its flank had risen by 13 feet this year...
Can you talk about tor zawar volcano in Pakistán or scafell pike, the other supervolcano of united kindom
Scafell Pike a supervolcano?
without harming anyone we need a strong volcano event to help cool the planet

Why is it called bromo
Wiki says "The name Bromo comes from the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation"
Mythical

New week so not really.
Planet, not world.
Fun part: take a drink each time pyroclastic flow is mentioned.
