"I'm filled with joy for what you did this morning." I've preached a few times before, and I can think of very few things that would mean more to me than to hear someone say this. Amber fills the role of supportive wife in amazing ways, and this is just one more example of her doing just that.

@@sadnlonelywithoutmydaughter911 If that is true, and I am certainly not saying that it is, then that would be the perfect audience for this message from God’s word. We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, so we are all in need of hearing what He has to tell us any time we can hear it. I’m truly glad Granger preached this message to those able to hear it in person, and I’m also very grateful that it can be shared with the rest of us through a format such as this.

I am thrilled and overjoyed that God is calling and using you in this way.
When God called me I was a nightclub musician and a nightmare to be around. I gave up music completely knowing that if I continued playing I would be pulled back to where I had been. But after 2 years God called me back to music and began to use me in ministry. Then after 7 years he sent me to Europe as a worship leader on a ministry team.
I know that if I’d followed my own way I would never have gone to the places I have or done the things He has had me do.
That was in 1980, I’m now pushing 70 and haven’t stopped yet.
Be led by His Spirit always, shalom.

With tears streaming down my face I feel like Kelly Clarkson said to Garth Brook... The Dance.. She said she has heard that song for YEARS. Sang it FOREVER.. but NOW, after divorce.. she GETS IT. I my friend, after watching this video I NOW GET IT. The IT being, what I have been feeling but could not describe nor define. Now, I can. I have watched the Smiths since the beginning. I have laughed, cried, I have even fallen to my knees in prayer for this family. I have watched Granger grow and Amber overcome, by leaning on Granger but more especially her Savior, her fear of speaking to a crowd. I remember the day they both spoke at a church, missing the CMA,s to do so. That very day watching that video, I thought, something special is happening here. And, sure enough, here we are. After watching this, I now understand what I have been feeling here lately. I now understand, God has been nudging me and the Holy Spirit has been punching me...all in good ways. Here lately I just bust out and cry during sermons and prayer. I could not explain it. Now I KNOW.. GREAT REVIVAL is upon us my brothers and sisters and my savior is using Granger and Amber within it. I am so honored, humbled and full of joy that God brought me to this family and I am a part of it. Unless God changes your path, never stop country music Granger. Honestly, God is needed in that sector and can hopefully use you to change hearts and souls there but also, please continue to preach.

About four months before he died he told me he wanted to preach in some form. Four years later, still in that horrible, horrible grief, a miracle happened and someone sent an audio Chad made a few months later. He gave a little sermon in it. If the whole story was told, everyone would know that receiving that audio was a gift from God.

We had to turn off his life support, the most unthinkable thing for a Dad & Mom to do and then watch your child pass away! I know too! Have been following you since I read Like a River. Can’t ever watch an episode without crying. My mom who was my best friend ever passed away two years ago and I still have not grieved her. Your videos book sermons and voices have been slowly helping me grieve. I cannot thank you enough. Then a year ago I found my brother who had been mentally ill and had to see his wife die, dead in his home after being gone for over 4 days in the July heat in Pennsylvania. I cannot get that image out of my head. I have been a Christian women, I admit not going to church though, but since your book and your videos, I am starting back with my sister and her family and would love if your ever back in pa to come speak at our church. I have been so inspired by you and your family. God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart-Heather

Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference. Max Lucado said this.
As Amber said a couple weeks ago in a Smiths episode “Cry out to the Lord. He’s always listening.”

I am thrilled for you. You are such a natural. I appreciate so much how you focused on verses directly from God's word instead of man's wisdom. We can never get enough of hearing what He has to say to us. You delivered His message so well. I kept hoping there was a camera on Chris while you were speaking because I would have loved to have seen how he was experiencing it being right there with you. Maybe we'll hear from him one day about it. Just when you think you can't love the Smiths more...

I am a Christian and I have been in a very dark place lately. Last night I decided to listen to a sermon so I was going to find a sermon from The Porch because they are where I normally look... For what ever reason Granger's sermon came up so my curiosity had me clicking on it. It was what I needed right now. Thank you!
