I like the green stone transform. The intro ring is so beautiful
Amazing!! I love this show...❤🇨🇦
Same here
Gorgeous ring! We love John Benjamin.
It is so beautiful.
I was expecting him to say 2.5 million haha.
Just 🎉 beautiful
Wow🎉
Yellowish brown ? It looks just yellow to me
The ring setting is similar to my a ring from the 1920s
Remember this was estimated in 2001.
that green dimaond ring has to be worth more than £5000.
this was taped... 23 years ago my friend.
it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and not a penny more
a yellow diamond sold in the Hong Kong auctions last year for 1.3 million usd
yea i suppose
@@MrMike9ed yea and the yellow ones are less rare than green ones
Im stealing that IMMEDIATELY
This episode was from at least 2001 so of course the valuation isn’t relevant
Love the cornflower blue vivid diamonds most. 🤔😊
The gemlabs itself ask a fortune for certification. 😒
The owner sounded completely underwhelmed!
I believe her reaction is 'reserved'. Some English people are cordial in their expressions as I believe this lady is.
@@viliabone1952 I'm English too......😉
@@macsloan58 - How rude.
If the right stone is in fact green, it can be at least 25k. It would need to be recut Bc it’s likely under 1ct anyways
I was expecting a much higher value
Don't send your valuables to anyone!!!! They have been known to switch the stones.
I’ve got my credit card, 5k for the blue diamond
She didn't sound particularly delighted
She has her gameface on
...looks like she's losing the game. Lol @@go_away_now
Yeah right. Those stones alone are $ 30k
Is anyone else distracted by the two school boys in the background?
The one in the middle is the one I'd force to do my homework.
She doesn’t look very delighted to me. 😊
The evaluation of the gorgeous diamond ring is way off.
You think so? Do you think it is worth more or less than stated?
This is an evaluation from 23 years ago
@@respectfulconversation944 worth way more, even from 23 years ago. VERY RARE COLORS.
The stones do have a wonderful, rare color, but they are old European, mine cut stones, not very desirable in today’s market. They are not not cut like the brilliant (round) diamonds today which are cut with more facets and sparkle more. The old cut has a flat culet (point at the bottom of the stone) so when you look straight down on the stone you see a circle in the center. Some folks like it, but most don’t. So, because the demand is low, the price goes down.
$200-250k
Did she come alive from a Wallace and Gromit piece? Bone structure of course but the “do.”
I'm sorry, but I just don't think that belt buckle is an antique. Novelty buckles like this were VERY popular in the 1970's, with all sorts of "vintage looking" subject matters. The look of the "antiquing", along with the construction method (that sort of hoop and attachment), all make it look like something from this modern era, to me.
It's possible, but 1887 is also 'modern times' when it comes to manufacturing. Those buckles would have been mass-produced, just like those of today.
Obviously this guy doesn’t know what he’s holding
They know what there stuffs worth they just like showing it off and pretending there surprised..
They’re*
