You can actually still tour her home in butcher holler. I only live 20-25 minutes away from there. I’ve been there plenty and one of her surviving brothers and I think a nephew (can’t remember off the bat lol sorry) gives a tour of the home. If you’re ever in around paintsville Kentucky, that’s definitely the right road to turn off and go towards butcher holler. You can’t go wrong in asking anyone in Kentucky around her homestead and close by where exactly to point you in the right direction Bc we all know (and definitely very very proud of) where our Queen Of Country Music was born and raised. There will never be another like Loretta.

HarleyQObsession wow, you live that close, how awesome. I take it where you are is quite rural than also, yet as rural as ‘hollers’ are, here we are united by internet. I’d love to see her home, albeit probably a far drive for a very short thing to do (NY here). Anyway what an amazing story, amazing life Mrs. Lynn has had and still does. She is so very cute, proud but not arrogant or ‘celebrity’ like. She’s truly the queen of country.
