I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who goes thru the big search for wall art! It is really hard to find just the right things that you love and don’t cost a fortune. I bet your new bed and bath reveal will be awesome, I can’t wait to see it all. I haven’t looked at the recent cooking videos yet, waiting til the weekend so I have time to really see which I will make. Your glimpses of the croissant just looks fabulous though.

You got me tired just talking about your week. Ha. The high Chester drawers would be nice with a faux plant or tall grass there and a statue and maybe 1 or 2 framed photos. Good luck finding the chair and items you need. QVC has nice Berkshire throws etc.

I was surprised how thick and firm almond paste is in a tube and curious how you make yours. Your shower looks very nice and roomy and bright. In your bed room over a year ago I think didn't you use to have that large bright red/orange poppy painting over your lower dresser? That was so striking, warm and really made a statement. I wonder if you found something similar in design and colors to highlight your bedding if you'd like that, but I know whatever you finally see that grabs your attention it will be perfect and can't wait to see.😊😊Thank you for all your time and effort to bring us really great content and share your life with us and we love you❤

We recently repainted our bedroom and currently are installing new flooring. The 1980’s mauve carpet had to go!
I’m also struggling to find new artwork for the walls. I need to pop in to Hobby Lobby and will also check online at Kirkland’s.

ESTATE SALES!!!!! I find a lot of art and furniture at estate sales in a larger city about 40 miles from my town. Also, make your own artwork. Look up decoupage rice paper. Glue to a canvas and embellish it with vintage jewelry, flowers, or more paint or colored wax!!!

Congrats on doing a refresh. Always fun. You could really elevate the look of your bedroom if you raised your curtain rods to the top of the wall, (just below the ceiling) and get new curtain panels that touch the floor.
My husband would kill me if I did that! Right before we had the bedroom painted, he asked me if the curtain rods were staying in the same place. I said yes 😜. If I moved them now, there would be visible spots in the wall. Think they have to stay put.
My gosh, Renee.....how chilly is your house at night ? LOL When I saw the blanket on your bed I almost started to perspire. My only covering is a flat all cotton sheet so I don't feel so exposed and vulnerable. (Yes, I do wear a t-shirt to sleep in---it's a bit risky to live all alone and sleep in my birthday suit ! )

I cracked up with the pups and their sleeping. For some reason, it reminded me of my grandchildren. Here we are camping in the wilds with ton’s of interesting things going on and I look over and ALL four of my teenage Grandkids have their faces glued to their phones! It was like “Yeah, Yeah, Cool woods. (NOT!)” attitude coming on! 😅
Needless to say… Phones were confiscated! 😝

I usually don't have this much trouble trying to decorate a room. It's the wall art that has me stopped. That's my starting point and what everything else is based off of. I actually bought 4 pieces from a new place yesterday and my Kirkland orders will be here this week. I'll be filming everything to share soon. And the good news it.....I LIKE SOME OF IT! Woo hoo!

Funny but I relate to bathtubs more out of a horror movie than filth😂. I think of the movue "What Lies Beneath" with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfieffer and yes, of course, "Psycho"! Never liked to take a barh, ever. Showers, yes.👍😹

I was going to say “check the gates!” Seems like the lawn services always forget to close gates. I loved this video and your home looks so nice!
They always forget the gates! We've gotten on to them enough times that they are finally getting better about it.....but I always go out and check myself. Not too long ago, my daughter and I were in my office chatting on the couch and they lawn guy had been there earlier. I let the dogs out and about 10 minutes later my daughter said..."um Mom, why is Pollux in the front yard?" I jumped up and ran out the front door! He should NEVER be in the front yard. But let me tell you....he was the best boy and just came right to me when I called his name. Shew! The lawn crew left the side gate standing wide open!

Hi! I love the poppy picture too....so much that I took off the ugly frame around it to see what it would look like bare. It's not great. So it's upstairs in a spare bedroom. I'm wanting a pretty piece of art that highlights greens. I have one coming from Kirklands that I'm hoping looks as good in persons as it did on the website. AND I found another great framed print yesterday at a local place. You'll see it all in the next vlog 😁

Your little black top was adorable! Is it still available? Since I've gone salt and pepper, I've noticed a lot of my clothes no longer look good on me. So, I invested in myself and had consultation with House of Colors (I'm a winter). The colors I can wear are bright and bold. It seems a lot of the colors you wear fall into my palette. When I went shopping, I found my colors, but I didn't like the fabrics. Or I'd find my color and the style would be wrong. I kinda had the same problem shopping for clothes you had shopping for home decor. Some days are just like that.

Not sure why you need to put anything on that bedroom dresser. Sometimes I think empty space has value of it's own.
Renee, I know I've said it on a previous video but, I'm so glad you got your bathtub removed and put in a bigger glass shower. Taking a bath is so gross, because people are soaking in their own filth. Yuck!
Never thought of it that way so I've been baiting my kids all the years in filth 🤔
We NEVER used that tub. Sat there for 23 years and we probably used it 10 times. Gone!

Hi Renee! Great video, as always. I used to buy art for our office when I was the Office Manager. I found some great art on Wayfair. Take a look - they have quite a variety, quite colorful too and the prices are reasonable. Their customer service is great - we ordered some chairs for our office and one had a little defect on it. They told us to keep it and they shipped another one at no charge! Good luck and thanks for your great content!
