Comparison between the stock Subaru Legacy 3.6R exhaust w/ mufflers vs the Nameless Axleback w/o mufflers. At idle, the car is very quiet, but when you get to 3-6k rpm's, that Boxer 6 cylinder screams! I seriously recommend this exhaust for anybody with a 2015-2017 Legacy 3.6R.
Does not let me exceed 3900 rpm when in neutral.

I have the muffler delete pair.
But these only work for the 2011-2014.
There are others for future years.
But this is mine.
Got this in build queue and going to be installing my new Takeda Stage 2 intake this coming week. Can not wait!
What year model do you have? We have a 2016, and can't see that year model for the intakes

NASupercars add a 3 inch test pipe for mid res...thats what i did with the nameless 4 axle-back....gets a deeper note

Steel gravity5 Totally, unfortunately you can’t rev it higher than 4.5k, where I think it would really open up.

@@brandongunniers9967 If it's an auto, put the stick between park and reverse. When there's no letter on the dash, you can rev it as high as you wish.

I live in a state with mandatory inspections every year. Would this comply?
As long as you only have a muffler delete like this then it should pass emissions inspection. If you took out the catalytic converters too then it wouldn't pass.
Did you notice any performance changes with the muffler delete axleback?

That sounds way better than stock. Im really pretty shocked. The only problem is the total lack of performance. My electric bicycle has more horsepower than my wife's Legacy 3.6R.
Its about lb ft torque in my opinion, its very competetive at traffic lights, im beating 6.0 sec 0-60 cars. I only have added michelin pilot sport all seasons and it has dramatically improved the way the car handles
It’s the CVT, not the engines’ fault. Test drove one of these and you can tell that the transmission is holding back the 270 hp and ~300 lb-ft torque. CVTs like to sit in between “gears”, never really allowing you to get maximum performance. Luckily certain tunes fix it

@@supercel55 the 3.6 r has a 5spd auto not a cvt that’s mostly the 2.5is. The 5 speed trans is a bit sloppy and sucks down hp. Hoping to 5 speed swap my 5eat outback eventually for that reason
@@shane.0082 2010-2014 3.6r legacy/outbacks have the 5eat, not 2015-2019. the later ones have the cvt
Any drone at any rpm range?
Wooca I have this exhaust with the 5” mufflers on my 3.6r. It has a small amount of drone at 1.2k - 2k rpms but none elsewhere. Hope that helps.

Call me crazy but I think I like the 4 cylinder sound more than the 6 on Subarus, it’s so deep and mean. Both sound great though.

what you like is the sound of unequal length headers aka the subie rumble. I love that sound more than anything
That rumble sound is caused by a inefficient performance robbing unequal header setup that also causes EGT’s to be 100 degrees hotter then a equal length setup . It’s the epitome of rice. A fast STi doesn’t rumble, UEL’s and there excessive heat buildup on cylinders 2 and 4 prevent larger horsepower gains...

Alaa Jradi rumble is artificial and caused by a poorly designed exhaust manifold that hurts performance, efficiency and reliability, only ricers like it
I got some decent power out of my sti with the stock exhaust manifold. You can also have a reliable vehicle with it on. Unless you’re pushing big power then obviously equal length headers is the way to go
Alaa Jradi won’t be big power, and you retain the peaky power band. With EL’s you see major torque gains (as much as 50 ft lbs), achieve better response and spool, and the car holds boost higher into the rpm range. Broader power band means the car is faster. I just don’t see the point in keeping UEL’s

Im trying to figure out how Im going to do this....... ME to wife, hi my love! Have I told you how beautiful and hot you look!? WIFE to me- what did you do this time!? Me- GASP nothing but i got myself a present that I want to install on my Subaru, WIFE- ....ok sure, ME 10mins later to wife, soooo it seems that this really nice and awesome part does not fit my 99 Subaru legacy GT and I can't return it now, do you mind if I try on your 15 legacy 3.6R? Lol you get the point.

@Riley Faber 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 that was hilarious, I never got the message from RUclips. I spawned a bearing on my subaru and this was my winter car cause I daily drive my mustang , I was showing my wife how beautiful her car would sound, wife loves it😊 and since she is a teacher I was thinking of borrowing her car to work on snow days, so far I got permission to lower her car and this exhaust too.

My dad use to have a 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6r. We unfortunately had a lot of problems with it so we got a 2018 Subaru Legacy.
