As the HVACR Trade becomes more intergraded with Technology, Technicians and Mechanics will have to be trained to be an IT specialist also. Some control networks are very complicated. I retired from the HVACR Field in 2015 as a Stationary Engineer and one of the Tools in my tool bag was my laptop and all the connecting dongles for the various systems I serviced. From 100, 000 plus SQFT Refrigeration warehouses both sub zero and fresh food holding and medication sustainment, 50 ton blast chillers, up to the 100 ton Cooling/ Heating units with heat and chill recovery built in with Fire system whole building exhaust. medical air and O2 system tie ins, Portable morgue. CRAC units, and specialized equipment for labs and pharmacies. Not include Steam and hydronic loop both heat and chill. SO glad that I am out that line of work sometimes when someone touched a system that was unskilled to service left a mess to clean up and place back into proper operations.

I have a Carel pco5+ controller that has power going to the unit but no power coming out. I think its a bad controller that needs to be replaced. I also have several more of the same controller that seems to be having several alarms showing. We received the MAU's a year and half ago. They were manufactured in 2021. What is the latest firmware update for pco5+? Id like to make sure they have the latest firmware update. Thank you.
You have to contact the equipment manufacturer, CAREL is used across many companies or manufacturers and programming is up to whom ever is using it!
Great video! Pco5 for the multistack chiller needs updates? For some reason the controller puts out false suction readings and I had to do initialization to correct that?

Password varies depending upon the manufacturer using the controller
