I’m about to order a exhaust manifold but I’m undecided on which one, tubular or map cast. I hear the tubular give it a higher pitch while the cast gives it a lower bass tone. Any ideas on how to achieve this?
Preloading with ebrake doesn’t save on drivetrain lol. I was slightly rolling that saves on drivetrain less stress. You know who I am I see you on the forums lol.
Great launch! How do you have 2-step with cobb? I have cobb on my evo but all I can do is change the rpm limit of launch control and it doesn’t build up any boost
If you download accesstuner on your computer, there is a table to adjust that stock 5500rpm limiter. The table is called “Stationary Rev Limiter” and you can also change at what speed the limiter stops working.

The only thing that stops me is that I won’t be able to see telemetry/gauges that the accessport allows you to see. Also I couldn’t datalog as easily, id have to have my computer with me for that. Idk, but either way tephra is way better so fuck it lol
That’s transfer case clunk. When you release it don’t be so harsh, you can do it fast and still be smooth, I came from driving Honda’s where you bang hard as Shìt and fast as you can, with evo’s you drive it like that you’ll kill the TCase, when you let off be fluid and smooth but fast

@wiktoor ehh idk. Audi r8 does it in 10s with semi auto transmission more power and better aerodynamics. You have to take in mind that the faster a car goes the bigger the force against it. But even if it doesnt reach 0-200 in 10s the evo still is fucking fast
Why on earth people put there car into natural and "freewheel" after traveling along at speed is beyond me.if shit goes tits up... 1 engage the clutch 2 select gear 3 do something All the while you have traveled some distance before you can even act. Car reacts totally different at speed with no friction . Plus your oil pressure just dropped If a higher gear was selected, this comment is void

cjsi2448 2 step comes stock on evos. It’s at 5500 rpm the cobb doesn’t let you change RPM.

cjsi2448 all honesty I would get rid of the cobb I’m about to get retuned on tephra it’s much better

U could be disengaging the clutch to quickly causing it to jerk
That’s transfer case clunk. When you release it don’t be so harsh, you can do it fast and still be smooth, I came from driving Honda’s where you bang hard as Shìt and fast as you can, with evo’s you drive it like that you’ll kill the TCase, when you let off be fluid and smooth but fast
That's on you because you're shifting too rough. I think most people do it when they first get their Evo and are trying to shift to fast.

If you want it reliable and driving everyday, dont do it the car is broken more than its running.
im at 500whp on e85, id do pump tune as well for dailying. its been really good so far
