Top Gun 2: Maverick (2022) Anthem - Full Guitar Cover and Re-Recording

- In the early 90's when grunge appeared, a true 80's Hair Metal guitarist was Cryogenetically frozen and stored as an emergency plan to save future generations from crappy music. Less than 30 short years later in early 2019, society and music had already fallen to a point of no return. The few and last remaining good powers that be decided to activate their one remaining backup plan, with the hopes of saving big hair, over-the-top guitar shredding, huge synthesizers, music itself, and our society as a whole. This is the story of that man.
In today's episode, the80sGuitarist gets kidnapped by Hollywood executives looking to recreate yet another 1980's masterpiece; Top Gun. After recording an updated version of the Top Gun Anthem from scratch to pacify his captors, the80sGuitarist makes an easy but dashing helicopter escape from Hollywood with the master tape intact. Top Gun was the first date I had with my husband of 30 years. I lost him 12/24/18. Hearing this music brings back good memories.

Military is a term where you and your pride is placed last and for an aviator whose purpose is to be the guardian of the sky is a risky job
But the same aviators don't define this as their job it's their way of living in other words it's their lifestyle
Women like you who don't care about that my husband's workstation Is something about 23 to 40 thousands of feet they quietly as unsung heroes do their duty
I am honoured to know that women like you are still their who are brave enough to express their feelings after losing someone close to your heart and mind
You have been set up as an example for me atleast

My Dad was an Okinawan Marine during WWII & was, is & always be My Hero! I was a Reactor Operator onboard an operating SSBN, one of the 41 for Freedom, & I only hope my 3 children & 4 grandchildren are as proud of me as I am of my father? My son, just achieved 1st Sargent in the Army National Guard, so I call myself, “I’m my hero’s Dad”!
On the f-22a pilot for about 8 years in this song still gives me the chills down my back

F-15 , F14 and F-16 were the iconic airplanes in coin ops , videogames and cartoons during the golden 80s.
Just a thought.... Imagine SpaceX putting the aircraft in above clip though an evolution process.. Engines would be a variation of the Dragon/Raptor, flight deck Dragon based controls, skin Carbontanium, extra acceleration option of cold jet thruster's for un-natural beyond human control flight under AI controlled bursts....
The original Top gun anthem is the best for this movie, it won't be Top gun movie without it.
The number one and only best introduction Theme in a movie for eternity ,never, never again!

I was lucky enough to see the Top Gun pilots racing around the valley's near Miramar in the 1990's. The RAF are still the best at dog fighting.

Absolutely incredible video. Shows U.S. Military aircraft from present day Air Force F22 Raptor all the way back to the infamous Navy F14 Tomcat. In between we have the other world class fighters including the U.S. Air Force F16 Falcon and the Air Force F15 Eagle. I understand this film, and the original "Top Gun" portray Navy fighter pilots but am glad to see the film makers acknowledge other branches of the U.S. Military. Unquestionably, the finest military in the world. For some reason Navy pilots always seem to get "Into IT" first. Must not forget we have never lost an Air Force F15 Eagle in combat in how many decades? These pilots and their support crews , no matter what branch, make this 70 year old dinosaur proud to be American. "Nuff said.
Spot on Tim. I'm a Navy brat myself, but have always loved our country's military aircraft from the propeller F4U's, P-47, P-51, B-17's and B-29's. Through the early jet age with F-86, F-100, F-104's, B-52's, to modern hardware like the F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-22's are here. And yes, even one of my all time favorites, the Fairchild Republic A-10 was in this video! Totally awesome!

Agreed! Ever since early adulthood (late 40s now) I've thought of fighter pilot (outside of actual combat stress) as being the most enjoyable/thrilling job in the world!
For me it was both the best and scariest moment every time I was sitting on the catapult.
Agreed for a while it's awesome but it just becomes a job after a while and isn't the same fun as it used to be
@@kooldawg6 even outside of combat fighter pilots do go through huge stress. Landing on a carrier in the middle of a storm would kill the average person with the amount of stress that causes. Still it was the best job I ever had and only thing I regret was leaving

Same! The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt, aka 'Warthog' is a bad ass tank buster in her own right. She deserves a place in this video with all of the other American fighter aircraft!
Top Gun soundtrack was a brand new 'thang' when I was in my 20's! I'm now 51!! But yet, it hasn't aged at all....and all the younguns love it now! Growing older is hilarious!
I was born in Jan of 1972, and this one was huge when the movie came out in about 1985. It is part of my childhood for sure.

Spectacular video editing. This theme so fun to play. Perhaps the best movie theme ever created and the whole soundtrack is epic. Yes I start out with "Goose"bumps and most of the time end up in tears. These guys have the best job in the entire world. God bless our fighter pilots.

Great cover, love the music. I really enjoyed seeing all the planes. However, in my heart, Top Gun will always be about Naval Aviators and their planes. Having Air Force planes (F15s, F16s, F22s, A10s, etc.), while very cool, is not as authentic to the original score. Regardless, great music, great video, thanks for sharing and a thumbs up!

For me, NAS Miramar will always be "Fightertown", and the home of TopGun. I was there during this, with VF-24 and VF-211. But, the chAIr Force did serve a purpose; we'd use them as targets during Red Flag.
