I just got a Ford Explorer and it has the 8 inch tablet style screen which makes it appear bigger but my favorite part of it is it is simple and easy to use. It’s to be used for driving or to set things easily before driving off and I don’t want to have to go through 20 screens to do something

The 6.6 liter gas v8 actually still has a iron block, the heads are aluminum. I knew something was up because its unlike Chevy to put a aluminum block into a HD truck.
that is by far the nicest looking truck on market in either 1500 or 2500....it looks proportionate, classy, a bit mean and just really looks awesome....dodge and ford have a weird " beak" or "poke" like a semi on their front ends and this one is just flat.....great job on styling I will be trading my 1500 on one of these when discounts come later in year.....watch ford and dodge to copy soon....dodge already flattened out their 1500....beautiful truck!...…..it will grow on people youll see I don't mind interior, I drive a truck because I need a truck....if I wanted a luxury car I would buy one, and I don't need a 12in screen....I just need it to show me what I need.....functional, easy is good.....its when car buyers started buying and reviewing trucks that MSRP shot up and things like their "noisey" and they don't ride smooth, and don't have what my lexus does became issues.....its a friggen truck its not suppose to be Mercedes benz…...after work I am beat to shit...dirty, bleeding, sweating and just want to get home...tomorrow I wake up and do it again. lol

Absolutely love mine. After testing ford and dodge for what would tow my trailer the best and smoothest, this beast swept me off of my feet. Just wish we weren’t required to have DEF tanks
@David Tucker uh Ford's trucks still look alot better than GM trucks. The 2020 Ram HD doesn't match it's motor. It looks more like another different Powerstroke.

Because I'm planning on getting me a F250 Limited Powerstroke. Most entire favorite dream trucks are Ford's Limited Trucks. Top of the line and a hell lot better than GMC Denali or Chevy High Country trucks. In my opinion in between the 2 the Ford's are alot nicer by interior. And I know most trucks are gonna look like a geometric shapes and all but I thinks Ford's and Dodge Rams are the best compared to a GM truck. Not trying to entirely sell you but trust me. A snobby nerd and geek would match them GM trucks by the looks of it. Still Good trucks but however the ugliest ones of em all.

Rear leg room, "even Mercedes S class does not have leg room like this," that is very true. One thing I have noticed sine trucks piqued my interest, starting back in 2018 when I bought my '17 F Explorer S. When I was at the dealer I sat in a F150 4X4 and then I tried the rear seats and I was amazed at the amount of leg room it had. It had the most leg room of any car I had sat in before. Now, I am wondering if I should have bought a truck instead of an SUV! I am thinking about trading my SUV in for either a RAM 1500 Limited, RAM 2500 Wagon, GMC 1500 AT4, GMC 2500 or the GM 2500 of course with a gas engine since I really have no intention of towing anything anytime soon, lol!
You'll take a lol of a beating if you haven't done it as of yet. 1500s vs 2500 and 3500 are 2 totally different worlds. Ride and gas usage are going to bed greatly compromised. But if you want one, and ha 've the means. Go for it, it's fun and they are a blast to own

Great vehicle, looked at and drove a Big Horn, work gives me a new Ford (only way I'd get one) but this is the only one I'll be proud to drive and show off at the campground or jobsite. Chevy rocks!

I too was initially struck by how weird the front end looks when this rolled out, but now that I'm seeing more of the Silverado HD's on the road, I like them a lot, much more than the RAM but not as much as the Fords.
Why do people question the MPG when it comes to full size HD trucks? When it comes to full size HD trucks personally my main concerns is it's capabilities ,durability,reliability, and warranty.
I know it’s diesel and bad on the mpg but when they won’t even tell you because they are not required to, you know it’s horrible. Can anyone guess how many mpg it gets? lol
The chrome it’s to much. Nothing that can be resolved. But the interior needs a upgrade. And it’s easy for GM. Just put the interior of the Tahoe that it’s miles better. It’s basically the same platform. Great video 👍

Rides on the same platform as the 1500? Not a chance. This thing is its own beast, nothing like the 1500. Even the body is different except for the roof panels. Engines are totally different too. Gorgeous truck though.

I have a 2018 hd same truck essentially with same trim. Interior is ho hum I like it, but not the best. Love the air conditioning seats, it'll freeze a penguin out on the hottest day in July. Duramax is a beast!! That's why you buy these things, the avg are of buyer of hd trucks aren't tech worried as first concern. I can smoke tires going up hill going 45 mph all day. 915 lbs of torque is just awesome. Also his numbers are way off on specs, wish reviews would actually extend their research and show actual number not 4x2 bare bones specs. No heavy duty truck is perfect, I could pick mine apart all day for $73k but I bought it to work. Also I drive to dc area utter pain in the was, but on weekend cruising I can get 750 miles on a tank and 25 mpg highway. Local is 11 mpg best, @36 gallons gets pricey as well so its a true commitment. Real world experience counts!!

The multi tailgate is available. At least it is today. Also the weight of the truck in on a plackead inside the driver door. There are three seat options. Black, black and brown, and the one you showed which I agree is not the best. I just custom ordered one. 2023 has the new 13-inch screen...it looks amazing.

Good review. Diesel is nice; however, because the expensive maintenance and repair and high fuel cost, unless you tow 10,000 lbs and drive 4000 miles per year or more, it is cheaper to get a gas. I was going to buy a one-ton 2021 Silverado 3500HD gas, but I could not pass up the deal my local dealer has for a 2020 Silverado 2500HD LT trim gas 6.6L. It came with the most useful options and not too much of the options you have to pay on higher trim model but hardly use.
Chevy is a working mans truck and the interior does not matter going to get dirty if you work it is a truck not a car Chevy is the only truck on our farm now we tried Ford and Dodge and they just don't last as long as a Chevy
Personally I HATE screen controlled HVAC controls. I much prefer knobs and buttons for that. The 8in screen doesn't bother me a bit.

My duramax gets 22 to 25 highway 750 miles a tank. You dont buy theses for the mpg, silly question
Without emissions and an ecotune you can increase the mpg by 30%

Not a ugly looking truck but certainly not a good looking as well. Lot of chrome in the front specially on bumper or grill is avoidable.
Makes you wonder how much technology like this will be evolved in the next 5 years

Chevy is a working mans truck and the interior does not matter going to get dirty if you work it is a truck not a car Chevy is the only truck on our farm now we tried Ford and Dodge and they just don't last as long as a Chevy
