Exhaust- Muffler delete with cts catless down pipe.
*Forgot to mention* I’m running a Sachs clutch from Ecs tuning
Could you pass the link?
The clutch is my main concern, 😂 definitely the most expensive imo
Link?

Ive been hunting for your channel for sooo long. Finally, i just had to see your shit again. Amazing amazing car man cant wait to get serious with mine
Turbo sounds amazing 😊
I went with IE Stage 2 and E85 sensor harness. I just had a shop do it and it’s awesome. Hpfp of course lol Love E85! Love from Cali
Hell yeah brother!
It sounds sooo good man
Jeez bro, sick setup!!
Thanks brotha!
Fire video
Wow that is nuts I thought I was crazy that my CTS inlet pipe was getting rid of my turbo noise. I am soooo putting the stock inlet pipe back in for more fun points. Great vid!
Sick car dude. Good to see I’m not the only one that lost that turbo flutter when upgrading my turbo inlet haha. I’m currently looking to get an intercooler and have been looking at the FMIC from CTS. I’m tuned with IE and was gonna get theirs, but I can’t justify the $900 price tag especially since the CTS FMIC is half that. Would you recommend it?
I have the cts and I can say it’s pretty good. However I haven’t compared the two so I couldn’t tell you. Would I can say for certain is that I have had no issues. Hope that helps.
I have a forge performance dv in my manual mk7.5 and honestly my turbo noises sound exactly like this with the stock intake 🤌 it's lovely
I wish I could run E85 here in Canada. Makes such a big difference on performance with just a HPFP required.
Love a good stu stu
Bra I use to run the ecs DV but ppl were telling me to take it off so I did.
Bc of this video, you make me wanna put it back on again lol.
I’m staged 2 rn on E30, have you noticed loss of boost or loss of power?
Just curious if you’re sure that your plugging the diverter valve plug back in when you installed the DV spacer and stock inlet tube? The diverter valve spacer should only be making a woosh sound, the forgetting to plug back in the diverter valve is the flutter sound. - which is one of my favorite sounds ever, but I just don’t think the spacer is making the sound. The DV not operating is causing the turbo to surge and making the sweet choochoos.
Awesome setup man and glad you’re driving it like it’s meant to be. I’ve got a ‘17 SE with sport package and also EQT Stage 2 (93 OCT). What kind of tires are you running to put the power down ? I’ve got a good set of summer tires, but even when the tires are warmed up, the first 2 gears are useless at full-throttle. Let me know, I may try the same set as you have to put the power down. Cheers !
Are u gonna switch to e-85 or is that gonna hurt your engine, also how much hp do u make on 93? Thanks!
def grab pilot sport 4s great all season and the grip is insane
hey how did you mount the front lip?
nothing happens when you're going fast?
Do you have any problems with the fmic as far as heat soak? Or do you think it’s worth going with stock location ic
Damn I was legit sad when the video ended. I wish I got my GTI in manual. Couldn’t find it when I bought mine and settled for DSG. Sure it’s faster but not as fun as this.
Did you get a turbo muffler delete as well with your inlet? That will allow more airflow and turbo noise
Vöxx wheel! I used to work for that company. I’m over at fifteen52 now 💪🏼
thinking about the solowerks for my gti. would you still recommend?
Did you mention tints? I didn’t hear it unless I missed it.
Hey, how's it going? I'm Brazilian and I love your sister car, the sound is different from any other GTI, congratulations on the car
yooo i’m brazilian too. O gti com certeza é o carro dos meus sonhos. Reliable, fácil de tirar potência, e muito bom como daily. Vai ser a melhor opção pra meu primeiro carro 😊
Que hermosa suena del escape que le tienes puesto ?
you can run a stage 2 tune with just a downpipe. its highly recommended to get an upgraded intercooler though.
hi can this cobb void warranty or no?*
I have a dv spacer on my mk6.5 gli with cts boss turbo and i get a lot of flutter but i heard that it’s recirculating air back to the turbo and im actually loosing power idk honestly ,what are ypur thoughts on that?
Thx
I did not notice any power differences, however I did notice I get more turbo flutter with the diverter valve when I’m on my stock inlet pipe. So I did take off my cts inlet pipe, I did notice a slight dip from that. However the dv spacer in my scenario did not drop power.
How is your clutch holding up?? Really considering an mk7 GTI, definitely want a manual and I know the clutch is pretty weak once you start making power, at least from what I have heard
Have been running EQT Stage 2 for about 6 months on my manual mk7 GTi. Have had no signs of the clutch going or slipping, not sure if i just got lucky or not but my car has done over 100,000kms on the dash and still using the original clutch.
Why not get the side-skirts from maxton to go with the front lip? looks kinda lacking on the side without it ngl, personally have 0 regrets on my full maxton kit, highly recommend you try it
Honestly I don’t want to spend so much on some side skirt extensions. I don’t even think it would add that much emphasis to the car either.
you got the link for that spoiler?
do you still have the resonator?
All that’s required for stage 2 is a downpipe. An intake and intercooler is “recommended”. Not the same as required. 🤙🏾
Hello
Awesome car...
What type of diverter valve or blow of valve you use?I love this sound...
Ecs tuning diverter valve
Do you remember what wheels those are?
Para cuando otro video?
I wouldn't run full E85 with stock lpfp and Injectors. Maybe a blend of 93 and e85 😅
Direct injection isn't the issue its the hpfp and lpfp
Just curious how good is your clutch, like feel price and etc
I haven’t had any issues with it, and it feels pretty good. Not too stiff.
Whats your next car?
Do you feel the road through the steering wheel as you drive?
Not sure what you mean by that. But yes I want to say I do, lose a lot of traction so I definitely feel that hahaha
Most of the benefits of Ethanol come around E40-50. Running the high of an ethanol content isn’t necessary.
Catless in sjithole california? is that even allowed? :D
Lmao no, I have an exhaust ticket that was due on the 28th. I totally forgot about it
What year is the car? Your burbles sound the same as my buddies with a 17. I have a 19 GTI and burbles nothing like that 🥺
It is actually a 2021. I am going to be posting an exhaust setup pretty soon. Keep an eye out for it:)
Yo what camera setup you use.
Go pro bite mount
@@Extended.Stickz this man gobbling down the camera mid drive😂 which go pro too?
@@merk8641 😭😭 sounds like ur gonna do it too. Ngl it’s a nice jaw workout 😂
Wish my gti sounded like this😪
C
Check out my exhaust setup video!
What turbo are you running?
Stock is20
did you wrap your roof?
Yesir
You do realize that you have to have an IS38 turbo or be considered Stage 2+ right? 🤣🤣
I did not, thought it was just full e85. My bad
yo im in nevada. so i probably have similar smog rules as you do. how do you plan on passing a smog check? if i could ever find a decent answer to that id go stage 2 tomorrow lmao
to get a gti to 300 hp all it needs is a chip tune....thats is xDDDDD i dont know what the fuck you are doing in america but in europe we do it this way
Flywheel HP maybe. And what the fuck is a “Chip tune” this isn’t the 90’s.
That's why they all break in Europe 😂
