It's often recommended to increase your arm swing to run faster. Check out James Dunne's video, Eliud Kipchoge's RUNNING FORM. Starting around 8:50, he talks about Kipchoge's rotation. He also did a video about Shalane Flanagan's running form where he talks about her rotation. Of course, too much twisting while running is bad.

Subbed. Love the push for conceptual understanding vs the “how to” approach for movement training. It’s not super useful for beginners who just want to look good in the mirror, but great for specialists who want to squeeze every last ounce of performance from themselves or their clients.
P.s. a very humble move to show yourself so highly trained in functional movement, but still so outclassed against someone trained to use their body as a weapon. I believe a lot of people seek raw strength training thinking it will help them during physical confrontation. Strength alone makes you slow, tense, reactive, and overconfident. An easy target for a trained martial artist.
Big difference between confidence and competence.

I’ve got good strength on pull-up and push-up however I lack explosive power in the case of say muscle ups.
Ability to gain enough clearance over bar to complete the transfer from pull to deep dip position.
    Great vid

We have been talking about this for over twenty five years now. Pavel. Vern Gambetta, Stu Mcgill, JC Santana IHP FITNESS. So he is close but he never mentioned the Diaphragm one time. When you unlock that plus know how to optimize the CNS with proprioception and train movements though the serape effect. BAM gorilla strength with function!
