Came across some photos of her from last month where she literally looks he same , I truly just think it’s the hair colour and no tan situation that she has going on.. just me though , comment your thoughts
she looks nothing like she naturally did as a teen. she has gotten so much cosmetic work, melanin shots at times, and done a lot to alter her natural look. don’t know why it matters how she looked last month when she looks nothing like she use to in the first place
I agree I think maybe she has gotten something done since we saw her last but it could just be a different aesthetic. Her beauty now is less made up(not that being made up is a bad thing) and there for more attainable and people don’t like that I think? People love to idolize something we can’t have. Not sure if that made sense
i completely agree. i think she’s just not tanning and wearing a lot of makeup cause she’s not constantly in the media. she’s still so so beautiful. the only thing that’s weird to me is how her voice has shifted but i’m not the type of person to comment on any of that shit tbh.
I just hate that we make certain facial features a “trend.” Fuller lips, freckles, tan skin, dark skin, pale skin, upturned eyes, etc. these aren’t just makeup styles or aesthetics, they’re people’s natural appearance, and they shouldn’t have to feel insecure about them when they aren’t “trendy” anymore
@@chidiogoikeh4550 unfortunately it will never stop, it’s been like that since like Greek times yk. It’s just sad honestly I don’t know why we can’t uplift certain feature without degrading others, and then 10 years later the one we degraded are now uplifted it’s so dumb. But the media loves to play into our insecurities or make them. 😢
And don't forget bodies. And somehow it's usually women's bodies and faces that turn into interchangeable trends, the body ideals for men pretty much stay the same. Sometimes I wonder if people think women are some kind of potato heads that can just remove and add features depending on what's "trendy".
I just don't like trends, because they go in and out, while the people who have these features year round are pushed to the side. Like its only decided that something is in, when a celebrity from outside those features adopts them. But its not going to change preferences within certain cultures or social groups just because hollywood decides out of style. Like black men arent going to stop preferring booty on women just because Hollywood now wants to bring blonde and super skinny again. If people jus stop body shaming, them people can just go to where the preferences want them. Without hollywood.
The blonde hair, zero tan and bleached eyebrows is all for playing Glinda in the wicked movie so it may not be the most complimentary look for her but she's committing to a role. A role that she has always wanted as a complete stan of the musical ❤
Thanks for bringing that up. I had no idea about that. That is so awesome that she got that role! Edit: Just realized how many times I used the word "that." Sorry if that bothers anyone. 😅
I think it is because so many people copied her, all the drama with Paige… she may have felt like she just wasn’t original anymore and wanted to run away from her old look and all the drama that gave her
I do respect her as her style has matured. Her style in the mid 2010s were iconic with the skater skirts with pumps and oversized outfits that she was drowning in making her look youthful, playful, and innocent. Even her signature iconic high ponytail is done. Now her style is a lot more mature, minimal, and classy and I’m not hating on it it suits her well. I think it reflects her evolving with grace and rebranding herself in her era currently
Ariana went from her "Black girl era" to her "Latina girl era" to her "KPop era" and now she's entering her "Anime girl era".. I hope she finally settles into her true Ariana Grande Era🥺
@@vlanjos4807idk which one was the Latina girl era but that one time she was on the voice (I think the more recent seasons idk I don’t watch the show) she looked kinda Asian with he makeup and how pale she was
i think Ariana looks gorgeous!! she seemed to be all over the place in the past with the fake tanning and everything, but now it seems that she finally found her style and is happy with it. also, as a skinny person, i appreciate your comments about EDs and being skinny. it seems like nowadays i can't even exist without ppl projecting their insecurities on me and telling me i'm sick. it does get tiring after a while
THANK YOU!! Omgsh it’s so damn RUDE! Like wth was the purpose of these type of comments?! Hmm?!! Oh let me just go to McDonald’s and get a number 5 and I’ll be the thiccy thicc thicc-um’s that everyone apparently needs to be smfh. Stress ALSO makes me lose weight fast. And it’s so humiliating to have ppl only comment on my “stick figure” than if anything is wrong emotionally stressing me out or family issues. Plus I’m naturally thin… not “sick.” Fat phobia and skinny phobia are stupid.
@@zaylinstar8883 as another “stick figure” I agree. It’s all rooted in misogyny so I try not to let other opinions on my body matter but it does take a toll on my mental health sometimes
@@maya-uz4wc ohh absolutely IT IS.. smhhh it’s so crazy how deeply it is ingrained in both men and women, it’s so hard to change old core beliefs but I’m glad we are starting to become aware bc yes, it does start to mess with your mind lbvs
I love how positive you are and how you aren't afraid to voice your independent thought. I feel like good karma will come your way because of it. I agree with your comments about her weight. You never know what's going on behind closed doors. I'm a naturally small person and all of the women in my family are pretty big and I had this one relative always up my ass about my weight and watching how much I was eating and asking if I'm eating and "you aren't eating enough." another relative would say I needed more "meat on my bones" like woman... I eat plenty of food I'm just built like this! Ugh..
people being concerned about her health isn’t distasteful. she’s clearly lost a significant amount of weight. yes, she’s always been skinny, but her recent weight loss is noticeable. some fans are being disrespectful immediately diagnosing her with an ed, but most fans are simply concerned with her health.
She went with a blond that has the wrong undertones for her skin is what you’re trying to say (am a hairstylist) Edit: I’m also blond and when my hair is first bleached it’s yellow and I look stupid. I tone it with a blue/purple toner and it looks great on me
omg THANK YOU. im 26 and so many older people constantly tell me they thought i was like "14." like saying that i don't look like an adult isnt the compliment you think it is. i'd like to think i come off, look like, and seem more put together than a teenager.
Exactly! I feel very inferior to when people make these comments. People always say “oh but you’ll look young in your 50s” and it doesn’t make a difference
i’m about year or two younger than you and i find it a compliment when people think i look 15-17 🥺 i think it’s because i do feel old sometimes when i think of my age & i don’t really feel my age mentally. i just feel a lot younger. but everyone is different 💕
I'm also 26 and I still get told that I look 14 all the time. I constantly wonder whether I'm being taken seriously because I get called pet names by strangers like 'sweetie' and 'darling' everywhere and treated like I lack autonomy. It sucks.
something you didn’t touch on in this video is that many people are talking about her new cosmetic surgery and how it was done to make her look asian, and it's obvious when you compare how she looks previously to the way she looks now. her eyelids have definitely changed. now that k-pop and asians are trendy, she's adopted a different style of look, whereas previously she profited off tanning and attempting to resemble a black woman.
Ariana absolutely had plastic surgery to look Asian. People can compare pics of her from a few years ago to now. Plastic surgeons on RUclips also confirm
@@lanreadetola please look into plastic surgery and how it can change the face, especially with skilled plastic surgeons. Weird how her eyebrows were level/matched for most of her life, then one side was significantly higher from a brow lift that did not take, then a few years later her eyebrows are level and the shape of her eye has changed. Plastic surgery can be very good, and the best makes you question if anything has even changed. Plastic surgery is okay, lying about it isn’t. I just wish someone with her young fan base would be open about the changes she’s made. Its pretty obvious she has had work done if you know anything about facial procedures & know what to look for. Your face loses weight as you get older, and if you lose weight. Your eyebrows don’t magically move around your face. Your nose doesn’t change sizes.
@@StressedDepressednOverdressed Yesss or how her nose looks so close to her childhood nose now but in the past when she’s weighed exactly what she weighs now it was so much smaller. There’s no doubt in my mind she probably changed it to resemble her old nose how that she’s older.
“Can people not be skinny in peace?” Thank you for bringing this up. I remember when Sydney Sweeney who hikes and boxes regularly and is an active person wore a low rise skirt and people on the Internet lost their minds because she had abs and a V-Cut 🙄
She’s playing Glinda in the new movie of the Broadway musical Wicked (her dream role) and that character is very famously blonde (yes I know Glinda in The Wizard of Oz movie isn’t blonde but Wicked is based more on the books and she’s blonde there) so the blonde hair and bleached brows are choices for the character that she’s committing to. And you would too for a dream role! You can see in many of her blonde photos that she’s wearing Wicked merch. She’s wanted this for a long time and is going all out and I’m glad she’s excited about it. Ask any theatre fan about how long this movie has been in development hell (it’s been over a decade lol) like it’s exciting it’s actually finally happening. She has a lot on her plate & a lot to prove bc many Broadway gatekeepers online think she can’t play the role but she’s incredibly talented and the original actress (Kristin Chenoweth) is her mentor and has given her blessing. I know she’s gonna kill it though, she is not gonna sing it in a pop style but like legit musical theatre soprano, as she should!
This!!! People always marvel that I’m 23 and say oh you look so young, I thought you were 15!!! Like that isn’t the compliment you think it is ma’am and sir….
I think it’s a combination of her getting her face altered and her not wearing makeup like you said. This is the first time we’ve seen her altered face without all the glam. She’s definitely had work done there’s no denying that
What do you mean same with black hair???? I totally agree with the other thing you said tho, blonde is super overrated as a hair color for people to dye (I don’t mean it’s overrated in general, just that it’s overrated for people wanting to change their hair color). I’ve always thought that where people dye their hair blonde they should actually be dying their hair a darker color or try dying it black, it makes most people look super pretty and makes them stand out.
I think she might be rehearsing for Wicked at the moment and she's playing Glinda, a character often portrayed as being blonde. That might explain the change in hair colour. Great video!
TBH, I think beauty standards are becoming more and more dangerous as time goes by, that's true, but we shouldn't be pointing at other people's bodies just because they look different than they did before, We all grow up y'all. Psdt: You look so gorgeous in blue💙
Ariana doesn't get called out too much for race swapping because she's pretty and she sings good and popular. Like when will she finally be Italian girl ariana?! Rn Asians are trending and she's switching to that. But she also had her black and Latina girl era so I just wonder what's next?!
No she isn’t, Ariana had ONE bad photo and now everyone is saying she is Asian fishing when she isn’t. In videos you can clearly see her prominent eyelids.
She has gotten work done. If you see her in Victoria Justice vs. now, her look has drastically changed. Other than that, when it comes to aesthetics, it changes from time to time. It's fun to experiment with different looks. It just sucks because since she's a celebrity and under a microscope, she's gonna get picked apart and overanalyzed.
@@melsaber800 as you age your nose doesn’t just completely changed to a new size and your eyebrows don’t just magically do up and down on your face, it’s just impossible and you have to be in great denial if you don’t want to admit that
I mean, it’s not always surgery, we know makeup can severely change the way we perceive peoples faces. I think she has just changed her makeup style and look
I love how y’all claim Ariana, and every chick had surgery but not when it comes to Madison beer? Is it because Madison is Jewish and this channel gets paid to make videos
She was very young when she was on victories, she definitely lost the baby fat, got more inshape (not saying she never was out of shape) and she dressed like her own age
Girl, I'm 32 and I still have people tell me I look like a teenager. It's annoying af because then I normally get told to eat a sandwich or something right after. The worst, though, is when it comes to men who are interested in me romantically (I think you know where I'm going with this). Because not only do they comment on how young I look, they like to go in depth about how "innocent" I am and follow it up by getting extremely sexual. It's weird and uncomfortable and gross. That's just how society is though I guess. The infantilisation of women is nothing new and is one of the many things we need to start dismantling.
Ewww, those guys see you like the dream girl due to your youthful appearance and get away with dating someone that looks like a teen without the risk of getting caged. Gross. Hope you find cool guys that love the way you look and not drool about a potential perversion.
@@-Radical.Ed- yup, that's exactly what I think as well. Luckily in the last couple years it hasn't been as bad (maybe I'm actually starting to age lol) but I still get the comments often enough to be frustrated.
I faced the same problem with older men and im only 23 but I look more like a 14 year old and let me tell you I’ve also felt weirded out by this before. I can also relate to the “eat a sandwich “ thing. People really need to mind their business. I just think its funny because its usually the people who are overweight who tell me this. I never have told anyone in my life to “eat less” because my parents raised me right. People need to do better.
Without youth female energy the male Gene cannot exist. Feminine energy only is good from about 18 to 27. Testosterone is Good from 15 to 65. So a man does not lose testosterone even as an elderly man. But a female will get older and less feminine very fast if she does not do the right things in life.
I love Ariana Grande so much. Obviously I’m not her, never met her but I think she likes the “cute” aesthetic and the “you look so young”. She’s naturally cute, her mannerisms, the way she poses for pics, literally all her selfies. I know some ppl don’t like being called cute and they’re developed adults, maybe she doesn’t like it. But she’s given us this innocent babydoll vibe her entire career with a hint of spice. She’s been experimenting with her style a lot more now. She’s so lovely and I love her so much. Her happiness is all that truly matters.
Tan does age you, and I have no business to talk about her weight but I think those are the main changes. Her wearing less makeup probably means she's more comfortable with herself without it so good for her.
To me, I think Ariana is just going more natural now, compare her current pics on her Instagram to pictures of her when she was a kid, and she looks exactly the same. I think she's at the point where she just wants to be comfortable with herself and live her life, of course I want her happy and healthy but like people hating on her isn't going to change anything. Love your videos and you look so stunning btw
i agree. heavy makeup was the trend in 2016 and now natural, glowy makeup is the trend now. same with her fashion style, knee high boots were what was cute in 2016 and now ribbons in your hair or miu miu ballet heels are hot now . its expected as a celeb tho to be engaging in fashion trends. i think she has always followed that girly, feminine aesthetic tho
ariana has ALWAYS been small. because she was at her most popular during the tun/sweetener era where she had put on some weight (which i think largely has to do with her mental health at the time she said her self it was the best time for her career but the worst for her personal life) i think people forget how small she was before that. as someone who has been pretty skinny all my life ik that my weight fluctuates a lot when i’m going through something mentally. and with the plastic surgery claims i think the slight difference in her face has to do with the way she styles her hair and makeup. like she’s not doing the high pony and full glam makeup anymore (editorarianator on ig has recently posted a picture where they edited her old makeup style on a recent pic of her and you can really see how much of the change is just makeup). this has gotten much longer than i anticipated but i love ari and i hate that the discourse around her has been so negative lately when you can tell she’s so happy rn married and filming for her dream role.
My sister and my mum have both dealt with eds. I have too in the past but im naturally very skinny and its irritating having to defend myself constantly haha
I love this hair color on you, you look amazing! I’m actually not okay w Ari’s new look, I liked the way she looked before but for me, the issue is how she tries to be every other race but her own. Guess it’s good she’s finally being herself. Yes, she’s still talented, super talented!!🎉🎉
Wait how exactly? There's so much ambiguity about it that I actually think its a bit offensive when people call her look "Asian". She looks like your average white woman
As someone who have struggled a lot with their pale skin (not the beauty standard in my country) seeing her embrace her light complexion compared to when she used to tan a lot, it’s making me very happy. I’m a huuugee Ari fan and I used to want her look including the tan, so now I feel more represented by her:)
I'm Italian and the first thing I said when I saw her new face was Damn! Plastic surgery making people lose their ethnicity! We have a very distinct nose, eyes and face shape. All of that's gone. I remember growing up I was teased for looking way different from everyone else here and I felt really self-conscious about my nose most of all. At least where I live and grew up people said Italians have Hawk noses bird faces Etc. Now my thirties the thought of changing my nose deeply horrifies me. It's funny I grew up hating it and in my adulthood loving it because it's my background Heritage I don't know what words to use but yeah. Southern Italian so darker complexion. I was teased for being green and dark. Olive skin tone. I remember my early teens trying to lighten my skin.
@@gina4437 oh yes I forgot no one is allowed feelings. You are absolutely right! The colder we are united the better life can be for all. Thank you darling.
i think people don’t realize how much of a difference going from thick black cat eye winged liner and black waterline to no liner at all and white eyeshadow all over the inner lid part can make... also concealer placement does a LOT but, yea, she has looked the exact same over the years and people just don’t realize they haven’t really ever focused on her features lol. also, let’s normalize getting bored of an aesthetic and finding new things that spark joy in you without it meaning you are struggling to find your personal style/have no personality. this happens to all of us. idk why she’s not allowed to experiment like the rest of us.
Right! Anyone who does makeup/ eyeliner can see how much that opens your eyes. Idk why people are being dense. I’m pretty sure she hasn’t gotten any work done in the past 2 yrs and it’s just been a big weight loss/ makeup change happening. Maybe her previous surgeries are settling in but who cares if she did or didn’t get work done
No, her eyes look very, different because her eyelid crease is way less apparent now compared to before when the creasewas very pronounced. In some pictures it's not even there anymore, giving her a more 'Asian' look. I blame the eyebrow/face lift procedure
i think it has to do with the fact that she isn’t doing music right now but she is actually shooting the movie version of wicked and she plays galinda. galinda is blond and this is her dream role. i think she just absolutely commited to this role. so i think the new look has a lot to do with it. also she is older now and i think it‘s great that she is leaving the little school girl look behind
I hope that she is doing these changes in a healthy and good mindset and not as a negative situation that she is going through mentally or physically. People change, what matters is that they do these changes out of societal expectations, lack of self steem and beauty standards.
In every part of the world people want what they can't have naturally... its so frustrating to see people beat themselves up about body and face "trends". I love that you make videos like this to talk about it like normal emotional people lol
I think shes just getting older, she dropped the “baddie” makeup and tan, and i think she looks pretty natural. And i think shes just naturally a small person. And what’s wrong with changing your style i think its a bit selfish for people to feel offended when she changes her style. Im 14 going on 15 and a lot of people tell me i look a 8 year old im not too offended by it because im not that old but i get thousands of comments telling me i look like a 8 year old. So i feel ya i agree with what you say in this video
By the way, Ariana is blonde because she’s getting ready to play Glinda in the new Wicked Film. This also explains her change of clothing style and going for more pink and girly type of clothes (Glinda wears lots of pink and is ultra feminine). I’m sure she’s lost weight because she’s dancing for this and going to be on tv, hope she stays healthy though. Super excited for the film and she’s gonna slay the role.
I also think we truly forget how much this woman has been through in the industry. She had to work with Dan Schneider as a minor, had a terrorist attack at her concert, & had a ex die of an overdose that for a while people thought may have been on purpose. That is a lot of trauma that I couldn't imagine going through & growing into womanhood through in front of millions of people. I know my looks would have physically changed a lot during times like that. She is grown married woman it would be weird for her to still pull off the previous aesthetic she's had
shes not wearing 'less' makeup, shes just doing it different and using colours closer to her own skin tone. shes also clearly has a nose job/lip fillers/chin or jaw reduction. its blatantly obvious. you dont get that from getting 'older' as so many in the comments are stating.
She had a ponytail facelift which letf her eyes look very different, she used to be so beatiful, now not So much, plastic surgery is ruining so many celebrities, it's sad
I have always thought that Ariana should embrace her 🇮🇹 self and the look that comes with it. Mona Lisa was Italian and she's still considered a historical beauty icon.
Exactly!! I don’t know why people are so concerned with how peoples body’s look and diagnosing them with stuff! People change and grow. I don’t know why people compare her face now to her face when she was 18. Of course she is going to look different. Also I could be wrong but I think she went blonde because she’s playing the blonde witch in wicked. hair change could have been her choice but I am pretty sure she did it for the movie. Also 30 isn’t old and let’s be honest, all the commenters own mothers are twice that age so what are they saying??? Anyways great vid!!! ❤
I really love your respectful take on the subject ❤️ I wanted to add tho that as a 26 year old female thats 5”7 (i know its not that tall but its also not small) i personally mostly prefer being called cute and adorable than pretty 😅 Ive never felt “cute” growing up so its nice to get those compliments now ❤ That being said, I do understand its not everyones cup of tea
@COZZYVIBEZ let me guess your 15. I work for a plastic surgeon it's extremely obvious. Hollywood does this to their stars. They never feel perfect enough. Hope you don't idolize anyone you see because it's all an illusion that's being sold to people like you.
Tbh I think a lot of it was just makeup…. Has she got work done? I think so but not A LOT like y’all make it seem. If you watch her carpool karaoke vid you can tell that her face looks the same from her victorious days. Makeup style, hair, tan, etc can make a HUGE difference. Look at Kylie Jenner (terrible example I know) but I know y’all remember those quarantine photos of Kylie without makeup and a tan… looking every ounce of basic white girl (no disrespect)
As a small woman myself, I can relate to Ari’s body type. Like me, I think she just has a tiny frame/small boned and that’s okay. It is kinda upsetting still when people call me anorexic when I’m not, I can clear out a buffet. I wish Ariana nothing but happiness and if she is going through something, I’m sure she will surround herself with the right people to support her and get through it. ❤
She’s playing Glinda in the live Wicked theater production on broadway. She probably dyed her hair blonde for the character 💛 I think she looks cute and she protecting her peace from peoples thoughts and opinions.
She's literally prepping for her role in a movie as Glinda from Wicked which requires the change of hair & brows & involves plenty of physical labor with dancing. She's posted many times with her co-star Cynthia Erivo in a dance studio as they practiced. It's not far fetched to think there'd be some weight fluctuations there. I wish people would stop inviting negativity into their lives by grasping at any little thing they can to find fault in. Just enjoy your life & focus on yourself
Honestly I think she had always consistently channeled Audrey Hepburn aesthetics, it’s shown up in all of her looks despite her face and outfits changing. There’s always a piece of Audrey Hepburn. Maybe she will finally pinpoint what she wants. Or she will just spend forever chasing the next big thing.
I agree heavily when you started talking about those “baby face” or like “omg I thought you were younger” comments. Super insecurity of mine as I’m 20 but still people think I’m around 17. It’s best just not to comment on someone’s appearance regardless as I get these comments so much and its adding so much to my dysmorphia.
Very good and interesting video! I do disagree with her not appearing to have and ED, because it really does look like it. She is extremely thin, it's just not next to other just as skinny celebrities, and it's not normal. Your body type does not go from what it looked like in victorious at 19 to what it is now in her 30s. You do not naturally lose large amounts of weight as you age, quite the opposite you will gain weight compared to when you were a teenager.
but like how is it anyones business ? no need to tell her she has an ed hopefully she can figure it out for herself. she is going to be in a very very popular big screen movie and is one of the biggest stars in the world i would not be surprised if she was cautious or worried about her weight bc of the comments/backlash she gets.
i mean i like, i prefer her getting into "white" vibe, than her asian/black/latino vibe. I mean girl reconnected to roots. i don't know how to explain it but it's refreshing to have her be "her". i don't really like that this ballet/soft easthetic is moslty white because it give classism. But the "natural" be herself to me is what she should be doing.
I agree with you for the most part, but Ariana has struggled with her weight in the past and it's clear she lost a lot of weight which I doubt is healthy for someone who is a full grown adult. Being underweight isn't healthy or "natural" for an adult, as even the chart of healthy weight has a range of like 50 pounds for every height, so being under or over that (which most likely Ariana is under) is unhealthy. To me that combined with her sudden change in style it seems like she might struggle with some type of identity crisis, nothing huge probably but it could be something like that. And after all, we know already that Ariana has been at a higher, healthier weight and been doing well at that so there is no logical reason of her "naturally" being quite obviously underweight. And this is coming from someone that has struggled with AN, but that's my thoughts whatsoever. Great video as always!
I agree, it think everyone is severely underestimating how much professional makeup and weight gain/loss can change your look. I’m not saying she’s never had anything done, but I think she’s had significantly less done then what people think. If you honestly look at her candid/unposed pictures, he face is mostly consistent. I think certain RUclipsrs and TikTok creators have enabled this toxic culture of picking celebs/influencers apart and demanding they “confess” to having work done.
Finally someone who is genuinely right and willing to explain LIKE BRO WHY U LISTING ALL THE SURGERIES SHE HAD THATS SO CREEPY let her live bro When people said she looks fat I'm like um- BRUH IF THATS FAT- WHO AM I? honestly social media is soooo toxic and I'm so happy that she turned off the comment sections That right there? Is the first step to keep yourself healthy People just want to drain your energy and what not i love her so much
I think the only place that is appropriate is when people are actively trying to call attention to why/how celebrities are able to change the way that they look and “perfect” their features- because there are large audiences of children who may believe someone when they say they haven’t had work done & wonder why they can’t do the same. Denying plastic surgery has real world harm, but in the same breath, so does attacking someone for their appearance. If you get plastic surgery & lie about it though, people will still be able to tell if they know what plastic surgery procedures look like before & after. Common sense & common decency go hand in hand (not always, but her being open about having work done would likely be met with much more acceptance than her basically trying to gaslight ppl into thinking nothing has changed about her face, even though her eyebrows are suddenly even and her eye shape has changed after there are no current photos of her uploaded for 3 months.) I do portraiture as a painter and have watched arianas face slowly change over the years because I’ve liked her music & have just noticed these changes, which are separate than normal aging (like facial fat leaving, normally there would actually be eyebrows slowly lowering, space between the nose and mouth getting wider, etc.) Makeup can sure do a lot, but it doesn’t change the position of your eyebrows on your face or the space of skin that’s between your brow and eye. And it sure doesn’t shave down someone’s nose (because contour TRIES, but you can clearly still see how thick a bridge is.) Like if you know a makeup brand that can lift my eyebrows, let me know, but I think we both know that doesn’t exist (even if you use the makeup that she pushes out to people without disclosing her own surgery & claiming makeup makes those changes……)
Basically, she’s directly engaging in the beauty industry to capitalize on insecurities that others have, and some are definitely a result of unrealistic standards set by people in the industry lying about plastic surgery. Especially while adopting a skin shade darker than Nicki Minaj at times, she should probably be more open & address criticism she has that is valid. Otherwise, she’s kindof just exactly the same as any other millionaire, profiting off of patriarchal standards & a true example of “white feminism,” in which her feminism extends to herself and maybe her friends at best in the worst, individualistic way. Like I 100% agree that social media is horrible and it must be truly horrible to have random people talk about your body size & objectify you. But with Ariana leaning into every race but her own for the longest time and the denying plastic surgery, talking about her looks is not as simple as denouncing toxic online culture. She’s perpetuated the online and REAL LIFE culture that exploits other cultures and hurts people in doing so. Edit:: please note that the “online and real life culture” of exploiting other cultures is yt supremacy at its core. You don’t have to be racist or a yt supremacist to engage in yt supremacy, & unfortunately Ariana has and hasn’t addressed it. Self reflection is a powerful anti-racism tool & I wish she would maybe try flexing that muscle a few times in a meaningful way bc she has the platform she does
@@StressedDepressednOverdressed okokokok girly chilllllll ik im a crazy arianator and even I used to think she's all natural and IG u can call it as a rude awakening when I released everyone has them but only some accept it Now the thing abt the young audience . well I think they'll have to go through the same process of realizing that this is why most of the celebrities are so perfect looking But RN we're talking about ari and her health Thats all I wanna say tbh
She definitely goes with the trend, like many other celebrities to fit in and stay relevant, when black features were „trending“ I genuinely thought she was mixed until I looked it up and now that Asia in general, but especially Korean and Japanese „aesthetics“ , are trending she looked like shes mixed that way Istg I remember her being so overly tan and then posting that one pic that was just super pale and not even recognising that it was the same person She clearly had work done, and normally I couldn’t care less but seemingly she did it to look more Asian and fit into this whole new trending visual and that’s just not it She always gets a pass for race swapping bc she’s pretty and does music and hass a bunch of (young) fans that will just defend her with all their might Also there’s nothing wrong with being naturally skinny, some people just are that way and that’s okay, but once you reach a certain level of skinny it is concerning for your health, otherwise I agree ppl need to stop being so loud about the way bodies look cuz it can be so hurtful to literally anyone
As an Asian person, I can say for certain that she doesn't "look asian" whatever that means. Not all Asians look the same infact, lots of us can look VERY different from each other. You are stereotyping and it's unbelievable that you think this kind of mindset is good.
People try to reach for the clouds when it comes to Ariana. Like let the queen do her makeup. Talking about her looks isn’t going to make her drop music any sooner
theres nothing wrong with "change" but when a public figure is dangerously underweight and there are thousands of girls wanting to look like her who know no different i think we should be talking about it. she's beautiful but she's clearly struggling with disordered eating
i can't believe we've normalised disordered eating and celebs being underweight so much- to the point there are skinny people complaining in the comments about being shamed.... nobody is shaming you, skinny people and underweight people are literally praised in this society and somebody thinking you're anorexic is seen as a compliment lmao. i have had anorexia nervosa since i was 14 years old and i get more compliments than concern. i don't want teenage girls to look at ariana grande and think that body is achievable or healthy because it's not. she shouldn't be shamed for it but no it isn't healthy and no you should not strive to look like that unless you want to suffer for the rest of your life. some of you need to learn when to be quiet. we don't care if you're "naturally skinny" this conversation isn't about you anyways, you're not a public figure and you're not setting an example for millions of teenage girls with different body types.
Ariana always had look at least 5 years younger than her actual age, and now I think people forget that she’s turning 30 next year (not saying 30 is old) but she’s aging, she’s getting older and obviously she’s gonna look different. Now she uses lighter makeup, her skin is pale again and the high ponytail is gone.
Ok but her jaw looks so... bony? Her cheeks are much thinner, I don't know if this was surgery, makeup or she lost weight, but that's definitely a major difference.
Agree
Hey girlie, so u said Ariana was 30, but she’s actually 29, she was born in 1993. It’s oki, we all make mistakes😊💗
i completely agree. i think she’s just not tanning and wearing a lot of makeup cause she’s not constantly in the media. she’s still so so beautiful. the only thing that’s weird to me is how her voice has shifted but i’m not the type of person to comment on any of that shit tbh.
I mean we can hope and dream but this is never gonna happen
@@chidiogoikeh4550 unfortunately it will never stop, it’s been like that since like Greek times yk. @@Chillikilli it is what it is atp🤷🏾♀️

Her style in the mid 2010s were iconic with the skater skirts with pumps and oversized outfits that she was drowning in making her look youthful, playful, and innocent. something you didn’t touch on in this video is that many people are talking about her new cosmetic surgery and how it was done to make her look asian, and it's obvious when you compare how she looks previously to the way she looks now. her eyelids have definitely changed. now that k-pop and asians are trendy, she's adopted a different style of look, whereas previously she profited off tanning and attempting to resemble a black woman.
i don’t think this is correct and this is just my opinion because her eyelids haven’t changed it’s just the style she does her makeup has changed

She used to be obsessed with looking perfect and now she's settled down and comfortable with not looking so perfect, it's kind of refreshing to see
I hope that she is doing these changes in a healthy and good mindset and not as a negative situation that she is going through mentally or physically. People change, what matters is that they do these changes out of societal expectations, lack of self steem and beauty standards.
In every part of the world people want what they can't have naturally... its so frustrating to see people beat themselves up about body and face "trends". I love that you make videos like this to talk about it like normal emotional people lol

Her figure has changed alot & I personally think it’s worth the concern
By the way, Ariana is blonde because she’s getting ready to play Glinda in the new Wicked Film. This also explains her change of clothing style and going for more pink and girly type of clothes (Glinda wears lots of pink and is ultra feminine). Unrelated but this look on you is giving me life!!! So beautiful 💜💜💜
shes not wearing 'less' makeup, shes just doing it different and using colours closer to her own skin tone. shes also clearly has a nose job/lip fillers/chin or jaw reduction. its blatantly obvious. you dont get that from getting 'older' as so many in the comments are stating.
“who wants to be called cute in their 20s??? 🤨”
me: damn, I’ll just let myself out the door then 😭
I really love your respectful take on the subject ❤️ I wanted to add tho that as a 26 year old female thats 5”7 (i know its not that tall but its also not small) i personally mostly prefer being called cute and adorable than pretty 😅 Ive never felt “cute” growing up so its nice to get those compliments now ❤ That being said, I do understand its not everyones cup of tea
Frl? How come so?
She has gotten so much work done. That's the reality.
@COZZYVIBEZ umm yess....Yall are delusional
you look so good, the hair color matches you so well 😍
She’s playing Glinda in the live Wicked theater production on broadway. She probably dyed her hair blonde for the character 💛 I think she looks cute and she protecting her peace from peoples thoughts and opinions.
YES we need people like you spreading this !
You look flawless, girl 💕
The amount of people denying her plastic surgeries 😵💫 ...
The amount of ppl that say and believe this with NO proof....🤡
Yahhh Keisha I love that you said this! I don’t understand why people think change isn’t natural? Haha what if we all stayed the same all our life😅
Oh my gosh I love ariana grande
She's literally prepping for her role in a movie as Glinda from Wicked which requires the change of hair & brows & involves plenty of physical labor with dancing. She's posted many times with her co-star Cynthia Erivo in a dance studio as they practiced. It's not far fetched to think there'd be some weight fluctuations there. I wish people would stop inviting negativity into their lives by grasping at any little thing they can to find fault in. Just enjoy your life & focus on yourself
this yes
You are so freaking pretty in this video, the makeup 💕💕💕
Honestly I think she had always consistently channeled Audrey Hepburn aesthetics, it’s shown up in all of her looks despite her face and outfits changing.
There’s always a piece of Audrey Hepburn. Maybe she will finally pinpoint what she wants. Or she will just spend forever chasing the next big thing.
Omg!! This hair color looks stuning on you💜💜
Blonde ages people who are natural brunettes IMO
Yes!
ily for this. thank you. feels like most people online are just insane/ completely out of touch w reality atp
the consistency queen 👑💖
I've been waiting for a video like this. Thank you!!!
Tbh, she's always looked stunning with minimal makeup and no tan.
Girl you are glowing ❤❤
looove this makeup look and hair style/color on you boo ❣️
i mean i like, i prefer her getting into "white" vibe, than her asian/black/latino vibe. I mean girl reconnected to roots. i don't know how to explain it but it's refreshing to have her be "her". i don't really like that this ballet/soft easthetic is moslty white because it give classism. But the "natural" be herself to me is what she should be doing.
SHE'S IN HER CAUCASIANA ERA CHILEEEE
This is my favorite era yet. She's embracing her truth self, that's beautiful. She got a new glow because of it.
Finally someone who is genuinely right and willing to explain
LIKE BRO WHY U LISTING ALL THE SURGERIES SHE HAD THATS SO CREEPY let her live bro
When people said she looks fat I'm like um- BRUH IF THATS FAT- WHO AM I?
honestly social media is soooo toxic and I'm so happy that she turned off the comment sections
That right there? Is the first step to keep yourself healthy
People just want to drain your energy and what not i love her so much
I think the only place that is appropriate is when people are actively trying to call attention to why/how celebrities are able to change the way that they look and “perfect” their features- because there are large audiences of children who may believe someone when they say they haven’t had work done & wonder why they can’t do the same. Denying plastic surgery has real world harm, but in the same breath, so does attacking someone for their appearance. If you get plastic surgery & lie about it though, people will still be able to tell if they know what plastic surgery procedures look like before & after. Common sense & common decency go hand in hand (not always, but her being open about having work done would likely be met with much more acceptance than her basically trying to gaslight ppl into thinking nothing has changed about her face, even though her eyebrows are suddenly even and her eye shape has changed after there are no current photos of her uploaded for 3 months.)
I do portraiture as a painter and have watched arianas face slowly change over the years because I’ve liked her music & have just noticed these changes, which are separate than normal aging (like facial fat leaving, normally there would actually be eyebrows slowly lowering, space between the nose and mouth getting wider, etc.) Makeup can sure do a lot, but it doesn’t change the position of your eyebrows on your face or the space of skin that’s between your brow and eye.
Self reflection is a powerful anti-racism tool & I wish she would maybe try flexing that muscle a few times in a meaningful way bc she has the platform she does
@@StressedDepressednOverdressed okokokok girly chilllllll ik im a crazy arianator and even I used to think she's all natural and IG u can call it as a rude awakening when I released everyone has them but only some accept it
Now the thing abt the young audience . well I think they'll have to go through the same process of realizing that this is why most of the celebrities are so perfect looking
But RN we're talking about ari and her health
Thats all I wanna say tbh
I think she is blonde for the film Wicked which she stars in as Glenda the Good Witch
Can I just say you're so beautiful.
Keisha... Keisha! This brown hair on you is everythingggg you're so bomb girl ❤️
She definitely goes with the trend, like many other celebrities to fit in and stay relevant, when black features were „trending“ I genuinely thought she was mixed until I looked it up and now that Asia in general, but especially Korean and Japanese „aesthetics“ , are trending she looked like shes mixed that way
Istg I remember her being so overly tan and then posting that one pic that was just super pale and not even recognising that it was the same person
She clearly had work done, and normally I couldn’t care less but seemingly she did it to look more Asian and fit into this whole new trending visual and that’s just not it
She always gets a pass for race swapping bc she’s pretty and does music and hass a bunch of (young) fans that will just defend her with all their might
Also there’s nothing wrong with being naturally skinny, some people just are that way and that’s okay, but once you reach a certain level of skinny it is concerning for your health, otherwise I agree ppl need to stop being so loud about the way bodies look cuz it can be so hurtful to literally anyone
As an Asian person, I can say for certain that she doesn't "look asian" whatever that means. Not all Asians look the same infact, lots of us can look VERY different from each other. You are stereotyping and it's unbelievable that you think this kind of mindset is good.
That hair style and color looks SO Good on you. You look stunning.
People try to reach for the clouds when it comes to Ariana. Like let the queen do her makeup. Talking about her looks isn’t going to make her drop music any sooner
im not being mean but, ari looks like she cant move her face now
i think she got the ponytail facelift and then lost more weight after that. it looks tight and uncomfortable.
@@chanelghostin6060 yeah and she was so pretty she still is she would still been pretty if she never got it.
Can we plz remember her “tanning” phase was in relation to her trying to lean more into the brown (south Asian) style not just black
theres nothing wrong with "change" but when a public figure is dangerously underweight and there are thousands of girls wanting to look like her who know no different i think we should be talking about it. she's beautiful but she's clearly struggling with disordered eating
i can't believe we've normalised disordered eating and celebs being underweight so much- to the point there are skinny people complaining in the comments about being shamed.... nobody is shaming you, skinny people and underweight people are literally praised in this society and somebody thinking you're anorexic is seen as a compliment lmao. i have had anorexia nervosa since i was 14 years old and i get more compliments than concern. i don't want teenage girls to look at ariana grande and think that body is achievable or healthy because it's not. she shouldn't be shamed for it but no it isn't healthy and no you should not strive to look like that unless you want to suffer for the rest of your life. some of you need to learn when to be quiet. we don't care if you're "naturally skinny" this conversation isn't about you anyways, you're not a public figure and you're not setting an example for millions of teenage girls with different body types.
Never been this early. Love watching your videos💖
she looks older i dont think trying to dress like a child is working anymore
Ariana always had look at least 5 years younger than her actual age, and now I think people forget that she’s turning 30 next year (not saying 30 is old) but she’s aging, she’s getting older and obviously she’s gonna look different.
Now she uses lighter makeup, her skin is pale again and the high ponytail is gone.
30 is young thio
@@BhadQueenJai yes but u still age
Ok but her jaw looks so... bony? Her cheeks are much thinner, I don't know if this was surgery, makeup or she lost weight, but that's definitely a major difference.
Keeeishaaaa I just wanted to say that you look so beautiful, WE need your skin care routine and a make up tutoriel gworl!!🥰 ps: love your videos
As always looking absolutely gorgeous. Loving this look on you so much you actually look insane Keisha 😍😍
I’m also 22 and yes constantly mistaken for a high schooler 😭
You look stunning !!! Hair and eyes incredible
