My favorite one here is the one about you don't have to use a baitcaster. I very much agree, if you want to learn how to use a baitcaster then great I started using them last year but before that I caught nice bass on both spinning and spin cast gear
I will say that getting a "stung" fish to bite as fast as you can get that lure back in the water will depend on a few factors, but it can be done. In my lifetime, I've been able to fish in ultra clear water and watch what the bass do or don't do. I have managed to catch and release the same bass 3x in 30 minutes, but not every bass did that. Some stayed and watched the others tangle with my presentations. Eventually, none would bite unless I changed to a drastically different presentation. If I returned to the former presentation, I only caught one more before they went cold again. They're vulnerable and limited intellectually, but they do catch on to certain things... for a while. In the end, it would seem that hunger is king, because the skinnier the fish, the easier it is to catch!
It shouldn’t be a debate, it’s just another excuse for guys who can’t catch fish! I don’t use it and I still catchem and have fun. What does a pro using ff have to do with you having fun fishin!

Oh yeah I still use a spinning rod and reel to catch fish!

Yee yee!! Love it
I Liked when he said the same fish will bite again cause i was always told that once you lose that fish he will not bite anymore that day
I've been fishing with Power Pro Spectra straight braid, no leader, for 4 years now and catch plenty of fish. So I agree with the line myth.
Yeah I agree I don’t think they see the line… they’re too focused on the lure and if it’s moving weird that’s what they notice.
I've never used a leader, and catch lots of fish.
I've never used a leader.
