I miss hearing this theme. Having the intros be ten seconds long was a dumb move to me. I really enjoyed seeing the many castaways since that helped me remember them all and without that, I always forget about one or two people.
Something about this theme speaks volumes to me; it's almost like hearing the cries of joy, sadness, pain, and suffering of over 500,000 human generations proclaim in one voice "We will not just survive but thrive" as the earliest of our species pulled themselves out of the oceans and through the mud- building up their civilizations, crafting tools, learning to survive in the most inhospitable environments surrounded by predators all the way to the modern era were we have risen from the hunted in a dog eat dog world to the top Apex species of said world.
Summer of 2000, I remember watching the finaly of the first season while in my grandparents RV, in Vancouver, waiting to go to the PNE the next day. We had just watched the Royal Tanenbaums. I will always remember when this series hit. I will always cherish the memories I have of sitting with my grandparents, watching this. When I was innocent. When everything was less complicated.

Also we have so much reality tv show crap here it is unbelievable that someone actually thought that some of these shows deserved to go on the air which has really affected my opinion of reality tv as a whole. So because of that the only reality tv shows I enjoy are Survivor and a few game shows like pointless.

Without challenge and hardship there can be no great success. They are flip sides of the same coin.

Check out the SEPT 23 2017 star alignment. That "coincidence" (LOL) has been talked about in Revelation 12 and will be FULFILLED on that day too. It's a sure sign that the lord is real. That alignment hasn't ever happened.
OMG this is helping me through my condition with me having brain surgery do to me having a fungus that had to be removed surgically and I have lost alot of memories during this period and this is like meditation for me which is helping me bring back a lot of memories especially with me being at my grandparents house watching this show with them who are currently deceased now wow soo powerful 😱😊☺️😩
