Just started watching your Planet Coaster vids, never knew this game existed. If the amount of time I spent playing Roller Coaster Tycoon as a kid is any indication, I would never accomplish anything for the rest of my life if I started playing this.

Thanks! I'll talk about this topic in a later video but short answer was that I wanted to avoid the toolkit item feature of Planet Coaster, and after that I couldn't really think of a satisfying way to execute a space park. It's still not entirely out of the question but I don't have plans to make it any time soon.

Spot on my friend! RUclips keeps suggesting all of these coaster builds, really I just want to see people making the buildings, scenery, etc. That is far more interesting, and I get great motivation from it. I just started watching your series, and I'm hoping to get building inspiration as well. I can't wait for Planet Zoo!

I like how Matt is actually spending time researching roller coasters and parks instead of just building from images or coming up with stuff
If you're fine with square plazas you can build in the grid mode for paths and you won't get those annoying holes

So, you know how Disney World's Magic Kingdom has the space area with Space Mountain in it? You should build like a KSP Space Center-esque attraction and it could be like a coaster around the various buildings.

I know its a little late, i only just discovered this series as i had only ever seen your KSP videos before, but you can make square plazas with the square path tool under the advanced path options, they are easy to double or triple wide stack 10m wide paths with no spaces. This comment might be pointless as this is part 1 of at present 36 parts, so you might have discovered this already.
I think I'm losing interest personally in KSP so more planet coaster would be awesome!

I totally get the perfect fencing thing. :D I sometimes build in OpenSim; used to do it all the time. I can get so carried away trying to get something right, it ends up being something I never want to do again! XD

To make a realistic park, you should use DeekFTW’s Cedar Flags build for inspiration. He is very realistic in his paths and buildings

Had the privilege of meeting silv and.rudi and they are.geninue guys much respect.for them amd honestly can say I know this is am.old series but loving the work I just wished the time lapses had been a little bit slower in all your videos I have seen not just of planco but KSP due to motion sickness which can be unpleasant no disrespect before people jump on me for being disrespectful but it's just how they made me feel when watching
