I hope those late nucs work out. We made them up with old bees from failed mated nucs. We noticed a lot of excellent looking nests but we also noticed a small number that were struggling with laying workers so it was hard to flaw the queen on them. We will see if those nests straighten out or not.
Yes, I have had plenty up until I culled 750 frames last summer and the fact that there are probably another 600 frames of feed in my shed. That takes a lot of frames out of rotation. I'm managing though. Thanks for watching!
Every time I go to the bee yard, Plan A beecomes Plan BEE...🤓 Also out of frames and boxes. What a good year this has turned out to bee🥸... 2 hours later... 🤪You inspired me, so I paused your video and went out to go play with the girls and I am now spinning the 10 frames of honey I just harvested... woohoo... lol🥸
That is funny you said you Like seeing a new queen get going . Well I do to but not the way I had one do Sunday. I made a split Saturday with a new mated queen well on Sunday the queen AND all the bees are gone gone gone up an away 🤷♂️🤷♂️. We win some and we looooose some.
I always laugh out loud at least once watching your posts, you have a good sense of humor. The thought occurred to me you should rename VLog to BeeLog!
Time stamp 40:35. I don’t know if this is your case Brad, but I’ve had different times were a rogue queen would get into a cell builder or a queenless colony. I’ve had small swarms move in a queenless colony.
Does keeping two hives next to each other cause any temperature issues in the summer or would they beard even if they were on their own? If time is the problem that prevents you from keeping notes, maybe one of the smartphone apps could help you.

I saw that too. Some of them were real boomers. Thank you very much for that unexpected gift!
I liked the music more than I would have ever imagined.
Steady on thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
The spacer for frames finally explained how to use correctly thanks for the great info.
Thanks for watching, Roy!
Wow Brad, never thought I'd hear you say I'm running out of drawn comb. You have a pile of bees now. Have fun.

That's a distinct possibility!
I was wrong in that last text those days was Wednesday to Sunday. If that is Kerrie’s queens they should be great . Thanks
I am excited to have Carrie's queens in my apiary!

Sometimes during the day one hive will shade the other keep it cooler. Canadian's don't worry about summer heat very often. LOL
I've never considered the temperature implications of having the hives touching. There might be something to that!
ya need to weed wack
Yes, I do!
Just round up. Works and don't hurt bees on my yards
That and gard star and grub x
