I am so proud of myself for how far I have come and how much wisdom I have learned in these last few days. I do not need therapists or gurus except for buddhism. buddhism is wonderful. I am not jealous that my peers have better cars than me, or nicer purses, or nicer places to live, or husbands or children. ornaments in life are not that important, and they are just that ornaments meant to fill voids of what we are meant to believe the american dream is. the american dream is to accept what your life is and accept and appreciate what you have. I appreciate what I have, I love myself and I feel great about what I do have. food to eat, water to drink, a temperance and way to quit smoking, a way to rest, clothes and the confidence in myself to stay to myself and not care about making friends or getting too close with anyone. ive had many friends and its boring! being alone is so nice and refreshing. being single is so nice and refreshing. not worrying about what a man thinks of my body or sexual prowess or what dress I'm wearing or what im doing its so freeing. not worrying about what phone I have or how nice my clothes are or if my face is made up or if my hair is done is freeing. I can eat what I want, drink what I want, not be told what to do or where to go & I don't have to worry about critiques of men or friends. I am just tired of the opinions of others; I do not care nor do I want to be influenced by others except for what feels right and what I know is right. I am so proud of my day today; I got rest last night, cleaned my room and straightened up, put on a fresh outfit and sorted out my clothing. I calmed down with my vape and didnt go out to the store to get fructose drinks (a slave to the can or the caffeine) and waste money unnecessarily when I have a pack of water in the garage. I didnt feel the need to get validation from friends who dont really care that much about me (to be honest I dont even know if its that they dont care they just have their own baggage and life circumstances to get through which I can respect). I didnt care that I dont have a job, and I stopped my wanting to gamble and waste money ineffectively and inefficiently. That's a very big win! I didnt worry about the opinions or treatment of the landlord and I didnt care if the girls in the house acknowledged me because it really didnt matter at all. They are just here living and having a place to sleep and cook and so am I. I don't care to use my energy to judge them or the landlord or the state of affairs in the community. I also journaled and slowed myself down and decided to consume content that is powerful, peaceful, gratitude fulfilling, loving and blissful. I am so proud of myself for having a happy morning despite challenges and difficulties! Go CA!
