AWESOME. well done. I want to run the Cape Town Marathon this year. Might be a bit too optimistic but will start training for it today. Finished my first half marathon about a month ago.
Thanks Chad! I had some training in the mountains and about 1 month on the road, but I needed more time on the road, lesson learnt. The pace was sustainable but my hamstring pulled at 30km... lack of long runs during training. I only did one 30km long run which was my longest run before the marathon.
@@cptmtb I'm doing the CTM this year - My first marathon :) I'm not aiming for any specific time. I just want to reach the end! Side note: I see that you know Theo. I've worked with him many years ago - Great guy!
Last year was also my 1st one! Can't wait to run the new route this year
