I’m just discovering the Pentax cameras with the K- 5 11s and the 18-135mm lens there’s lots to enjoy so far. It’s nice to see more Pentax content and enjoy your variety of scenery, thanks for sharing. Liked and subscribed.
Gack, YES! I've done Raw development on the K-01 to check a shot was where I wanted, then in to Lightroom for the final edit to match. Editing stills on Pentax is stupid easy!
Neils both you and Mike do a fantastic job of being both entertaining and informative in your reviews, it's through looking at many of your videos now that I have settled on what to but with the knowledge that it's perfect for I will be using it for and the is the Pentax K1 m2 with the 24-70 F2.8 Pentax lens. Thank you both. Terry.
The K3/M3 and the 16-50 in Australia at today's price (Dec 2023) will set you back 4K AUD which = 2113.24 Pounds. I have no idea why they are 'stroking you' another 1.2K for the same thing...
Thank you that's epic! I wish Pentax will do a 150-450mm Version II PLM or something a bit smaller like 100-300mm or so but with the PLM engine on. Now Niels and Mike I'd like to ask you about the speed of the AF. I mean, I'd like a quantification of HOW quick it is! I saw that the 55-300mm PLM is just a blink of the eye quick. I have had the 55-300mm lens, back in the day when it was DA AL version in 2011 and that was not a responsive lens. Why do I ask this? I am a Motorsport Photographer !! I need speed to capture speed! Thank you!
Dank wederom Niels en Mike voor deze review! Speel al een tijdje met de gedachte de 18-135 mm te vervangen. Weten jullie of er ook een 50-135 mm met PLM op het programma staat?
@@Sertao2013 That’s how Tony Northrup explains it, but that mostly applies to the depth of field. For exposure setting purposes, treat it just like it’s marked: f2.8.
Looks like it. Maybe they can do a Pentax branded version of a the Blackmagic Video Assist :) Assuming that is, that Pentax has fixed the HDMI to function properly, at the user chosen frame rate and frame size, with no overlays.
Surely an urban photo trip would have made more sense choosing landscape to show off a lens in the Netherlands one of the worlds flattest countries does not make much sense

Finally, someone shows themselves using the in-camera editing capabilities of Pentax cameras. Good luck doing that with a Sony menu system.

New design of one of the most essential lenses in the whole Pentax APS-C line-up. Most welcome.
Excellent video 😮!
Great review/overview and I quite enjoyed the sample shots that you've shown us. Thanks!

Nice review and nice to see some Dutch landscape. How much is that lens in the Netherlands? Goes for AU$2000+ (1250 Euro) in Australia!
Mooi gedaan Mike! Goede video!
The monotor looks cool. What's the brand and the model please?
Which field monitor are you using? I need to get one. Thx.

Geen idee Edzo! Wij horen ook pas op het laatste moment wat de ontwikkelingen zijn…
Hi Mike: Very good review with demo. Can you please the field monitor brand and model ? thanks tanmay
Really impressive.
So on the k3 its a 24- 70 mm Right ?
That would be a 24-75 mm
@@nomorokay Does the 2.8 also go up a step ? So isn't it really a F 3.2

Definitely, I will buy this masterpiece of glass…
6:00 using F8 to show what is the resolving ability of F2.8 lens? OMG even DA18-55 does well with F8
So, the solution to take landscape without breaking our neck with the K3-III is using an external screen....
