There is no doubt Iranians are very imaginative when it comes to open spaces and gardens in particular. In January of 2020 the works in progress to "refurbish" this pedestrian avenue were still going on and one could only hipothesise as to what would come out of it. It has been worth it. It looks a lot more majestic than it already was. I am really looking forward to going back and strolling around Chahar Bagh again. It looks it has a lot more sitting spaces available in the central pedestrian area and the water and flower beds give it all a unique touch. Congratulations to all those involved in this renovation ... from the designers to the workers. Truth be said - Iranians really look after your patrimony ... (we should learn with you).

Looks lovely. A comment below says this street was renovated just recently. When was it renovated, and what did it look like before? I hope they restore it to its full Safavid-era glory. I know the old buildings were mostly demolished by Zell-e Soltan during the Qajar era.
May Allah protect Iran from evil leaders and political interests. May they not fall into traps of traitors.
