I’ve never soldered before, but ive read that the best indicator a pipe is hot enough to take solder is the flux bubbling. Is the flame color a reliable indicator of pipe temp? Thanks for the tips and sharing your experience, I’ve got a lot to learn
In the house I just bought, it looks like whoever did some plumbing modifications did not clean the joints afterwards. Green funk has formed on about a dozen fittings, will WD-40 remove it? Or is there something else I need to do? I want to remove the mess before it causes major problems. Thanks
@olegearhead2483 Hello. Thanks for watching my video. I don't know this for sure, but white vinegar heated up some. I do know it kills mold! I would try it before anything else
WD 40 really cleans the area well
Never thaught about about using using WD-40 on sweating at all : but now I will : young dogs can teach old dogs new tricks ta taw !
