In old pension scheme for securing maximum ie 50 pc of last paid salary one had to serve minimum 33 years which is now reduced to 30 years in govt of karnataka. I am a govt servant with.15 years of service in nps. The current amount in my nps account is lesser than total amount deposited both by my and govt share . There will be no control or ways to track the flow of money.This amount cannot be touched or drawn till I reach the age of 60 years. And this amount will have no value after doing 30 to 35 years of service. Defined Pension is the right of a govt servant because he will be committed to the govt 24/7 . The contribution of karnataka to gdp is high but state government employees are drawing lesser salary compared to that of other states. The reasons for loss of govt are different issues and not pension.
Karnatakas Contribution to GDP not from govt sectors, its from private sector, IT sector is part of that. You are lazy fellows, asks money for every work even you get salary. Dont bring OPS we are not ready to pay from my pocket to these lazy fellows after his retairement.

Forget about rest, Government employees have luxury of job security till the retirement (even if you don't perform your duties). Why can't these people plan their investments and secure their future.
@@peaceful154 so what govt employees also paying tax means , that every earner has to pay , here not mentioned individual person or officer , as a whole govt offices we are discussing and PSUs and banks are not govt offices , they may be privatized at any time , and PSUs are accepting NPS, in govt office even for pune ask money for small signature like 20 , 50 , we experienced , I am in other city and its being 6 months I can't able to to my some govt related work because I want to do my own , if I give 5000 to village account he will everything , its a matter of 500 , so whenever I go he will tell tho come some other day , what is this ? I also decided not give him single rupee , I will get it done because I don't have urgency , if some person is in urgency what should he do ? According to you he should give 5000 right ? So cut the Benefits , make it like to work as pvt with accountability ,

I m government employee and honours in economics I know NPS is good scheme but Employees have to understand it properly.. their is rumours spreading around it after retirement no one get pension and also 100% investment in stock market.. but actually not 100% it varies and there is other investments categories like Treasury bills. Bonds, debts etc so there is no need to worry about this who are going to serve atleast 10 years in government services...
What if a govt employee dies within 3 to 4 years of joining.. ? Nps good its nt as secure as ops

For example: if you build a house from your life earning, after few years. If government tells you that, you need to surrender your house after leaving 20 years or you need to leave in that house with 10% of space. Then what you will do my boss. Answer this in your next video please. Tell what all the everything changes in life.... It will be better life for younger people with less tax and cheaper things and we can able to tell after age of 60. people can go to hell. Or older people are not eligible for living in this digital world. I think this is Nice idea.

Sir. You have given some good clarification about NPS &OPS But under OPS if a person has served for less than ,28 years he will not get 50 persent of his last drawn basic pay as pension. This 50 persent will be decided by 33 and multiplied by no of years of service plus 5 years the resultant will be his basic pension or the minimum pen fixed by govt.will be his pension.

For group B C and D large number of employees are suffering due to low amount accumulation during retirement. Instead of putting 14% now let they accumulate on each employee account and put after retirement. Don't barrow from our salary.

But how about remaining 40% sir, if there is some unfortunate then will it go govt or nominee. And also In case of unfortunate during service only 20% to nominee and remaining sd go for equity. After nominee term to whom our hard earned money will go to kindly give details on that aspect also.
