I was so surprised to see that you were considering this one, the kind of obscure game I used to see deep within CGW back in the day. Glad you gave it a try and we got some laughs out of it. As always, thanks for having fun with us.
I can't believe she blew her Knutt before the mission was over Thanks for introducing us to something truly magical with this one If you're looking for something short and sweet to play for an hour or so, Cannon Fodder could fill the slot nicely. Has a fun FMV song to go with it and the gameplay is fairly straightforward. Syndicate got brought up a lot in comparison to this game too, but you could probably make a whole mini series trying out all the bullfrog games, they all did something pretty spectacular in their day.
Really interesting game even if a bit undercooked. The intro was absolutely PEAK. Really curious how you found out about this gem. Anyway, there are plenty of good DOSbox games to look into: Warcraft 1-2 (rts), DOOM 1-2 (fps), Simcity 2000 (city builder), Duke-Nukem 3D (fps), Heroes of Might and Magic (Turn-based strategy), The secret of monkey island (Adventure), and Command & Conquer: Red Alert (rts). Hope you find something you like!
That was a fun game, thank you for showing it to us! I had a lot of fun As for DOS games, I suggest checking out Constructor (1997). It's a slightly different genre (mission based strategy/building), but it has a ton of soulful little animations, sounds and humor
