Beautiful Shrine Place BHURESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE (BHURSHING) | HIMACHAL PRADESH | RoadStoriesByIshan

Bhurshing Mahadev temple is built on a cliff, it is believed that Lord Shiva and Parvati witnessed the Mahabharat from this place. According to another legend, it is believed that two siblings died at this spot, the brother-sister duo was considered to be having some powers, which was vested in them by lord Shiva. They used to come here to graze their cattle.
One day one of the calves got lost in the surrounding jungle and they went back to their house with the remaining cattle. Their stepmother was really cruel to them, she ordered them to search for the calf and bring it back home. Siblings went in search of the calf, and it also started to rain. The weather continued to worsen. Looking at the weather condition, the brother asked her sister to go home while he stayed back searching for the calf. Both calf and the boy became motionless near the dev shilla.
Sometime later, the sister also died near the present bhurshing mahadev temple. she jumped from the palanquin in which she was being carried after the marriage. Using her powers, she converted in a water stream.
भुर्शिंग महादेव मंदिर एक चट्टान पर बना है, ऐसा माना जाता है कि भगवान शिव और पार्वती ने इसी स्थान से महाभारत देखा था। एक अन्य किंवदंती के अनुसार, ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस स्थान पर दो भाई-बहनों की मृत्यु हो गई थी, माना जाता है कि भाई-बहन की जोड़ी के पास कुछ शक्तियां थीं, जो भगवान शिव द्वारा उनमें निहित थीं। वे अपने मवेशियों को चराने के लिए यहां आते थे।
एक दिन एक बछड़ा आसपास के जंगल में खो गया और वे बचे हुए मवेशियों के साथ अपने घर वापस चले गए। उनकी सौतेली माँ वास्तव में उनके प्रति क्रूर थी, उसने उन्हें बछड़े की खोज करने और उसे घर वापस लाने का आदेश दिया। भाई-बहन बछड़े की तलाश में निकले और बारिश भी होने लगी। मौसम लगातार खराब होता जा रहा है. मौसम की स्थिति को देखते हुए, भाई ने अपनी बहन को घर जाने के लिए कहा, जबकि वह बछड़े की तलाश में वहीं रुक गया। देव शिला के पास बछड़ा और बालक दोनों निश्चल हो गए।
कुछ समय बाद बहन की भी वर्तमान भुर्षिंग महादेव मंदिर के पास मृत्यु हो गई। वह उस पालकी से कूद गई जिसमें उसे विवाह के बाद ले जाया जा रहा था। अपनी शक्तियों का उपयोग करके, वह एक जलधारा में परिवर्तित हो गई।
