Because I've been trying to get it working for over a week and the only file I got working doesn't display my health, items, or comrades. And it also doesn't have English subtitles for the story cutscenes. So if you could tell me which file you downloaded I'd be extremely grateful. Thank you
They are so pathetic that nobody remembers, anyway this game deserved a Remake, or Reboot adapting everything as far as Mouri did, only improving the mechanics based on the current molds, there's a lot of stuff from the current FF, aka FF7 REMAKE that could be used for the new Guts game it also has the simple mechanics of the current GOW, well good video I wanted the Japanese to know how famous this work would be here to that they had translated at the time.

That definitely sounds like a good idea, but it would take those particular developers an immense amount of time, effort, and money to pull something like that off. The thing with the souls series is that the gameplay is an enormous part of the experience and trying to fit it in with the narrative is something that's hit or miss at times. Many people believe that a decent chunk of dark souls 2 and the endgame section of Elden Ring don't account for balance in gameplay as much. The 2015 berserk game for instance had some pretty negative reviews because it had so much to do with intense action without the realism of guts taking a good while to swing the enormous dragonslayer. Likewise, it didn't do so well portraying the story by having such huge cutscenes. To have a good game adaptation, it has to mix both gameplay and story, but I totally agree that it could work so long as it's done right...
Thatd be cool but i really doubt fromsoft would do it, if they did the story would probably be something youd have to learn yourself, rather than it being spoonfed to you during cutscenes with exposition
I don't know if their level design could work for a manga adaptation. The maps in all their game are very interconnected, while in Berserk it really feels like the characters are going through "stages". The level design of this game should work better, but it needs to be expanded and done properly.
A Fromsoft Berserk game wouldn't be bad, but I'd prefer Santa Monica to develop one instead. This may be GOW5 hype, I feel like their formula in GOW4 works best for more of a story experience.

If you want the xp make sure to just sit in front of a pack of (preferably red) trees and keep killining them until they don’t spawn anymore that should be pretty easy to do. Also fighting the blues isn’t that bad of an idea but they give you way less xp
If you dont know you can actually do a variety of executions in this game especially against bosses for example when fight Zodd on the Hill of Swords if you break his defenses you can do an execution where you cut off him arm and Zodd will use the arm as a club and you can also do an execution with the cannon hand with an entirely different animation. There are instances where you can do this with other bosses but im not sure if its as dynamic as the first fight with Zodd
I did this execution and omg, I loved it but forgot where I had the footage and when I recorded the main talking footage I forgot that out of all the other stuff. SO GOOD
This game was actually genuinely good, and the closest to the Berserk experience. Above the Dreamcast and the Warriors game. Agreed on that. I am most impressed with its feel, and the dragonslayer sounds like a heavy slab of steel, not clang, but Whoosh.
There is a mod for DMC5 that changes Nero to Gutts. This is something I would like to check out personaly because I love DMC. And Gutts going against a ton of deamons should be fun haha.

After seeing the Berserk Mode section, maybe Berserk Mode speeds you up, where as Serpico's assist perhaps speeds your physical speed as well as your perception. Both kinda do the same thing but in really different ways once you take stats and equipment into account. Kinda cool, idk why I broke that down so much tho 🤷
I've played that berserk PS2 game (Millennium Falcon Arc - Falcon of the Millennium Empire $ Chapter of the Holy Demon War) years ago on japanese language anyways. Finished it several times, it's a somewhat hard game (especially the extra content) but you get used to it and has some upgrads for the character as well (good gameplay as well). For me, felt like it got the dark, bloddy, hopeless, (...) of the manga pretty well!!!

In your emulation settings on the application your using to play the game, under the setting render use a different render and then boot the game to see if it changed anything, repeat until fixed
Nah bro not having that. Genuinely never heard of this and im an avid berserk fan hahaha. I knew the dreamcast and the band of the hawk one but never heard of this. Running it on my mac with a ps4 controller as we speak 🤣

It's very realistic for the knives to be basically a distraction, that's what throwing knives are in real world: short range distraction
