It's geometry, he's using the existing flooring he already laid down to measure the angles and lengths most of the time. He lays down the slats over an earlier joint and cuts in a straight line between two corners. Or he takes the piece of flooring he's about to lay down and marks it on the reverse using his cutter.
I love the herringbone pattern, but I am getting this done in solid wood planks, not in bendable tile. Not sure what that product is. But this pattern is beautiful!

There being almost ten minutes of an intense awe inspiring orchestra and then immediately switching to something that sounds like a goofy Mario theme as soon as you put the final piece down is unintentionally hilarious
Seems weird to glue the entire floor at once. They must be using a much slower drying adhesive than I'm used to. Also nice work getting right up to the edges, but won't it eventually buckle when it expands near the areas where there isn't trim?
It’s called pressure sensitive glue
Calculating angles is not easy! Amazing work done!
Thanks for teaching us how to do this. your work looks amazing! -
Ok
Very impressive.
Well done!
Repent to Jesus Christ
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
James 1:27 NIV

How do you not accidentally cut through onto already laid floor when cutting ?
You do all this so effortlessly.
Fascinating.
👍👍
Muscle memory. After you done thousands, ten of thousand cuttings, you eventually knnow just how deep to cut the tiles.
He's just scoring the tile then snapping it
Score and snap and muscle memory. I do this all day!
It also looks like he's putting a tile under it too
He just controlling his hand not to push hard.
Even watching every edge cut, I still can’t figure out how he gets it so perfect every time
That is just what happens when you do something every day for years.
It's geometry, he's using the existing flooring he already laid down to measure the angles and lengths most of the time. He lays down the slats over an earlier joint and cuts in a straight line between two corners. Or he takes the piece of flooring he's about to lay down and marks it on the reverse using his cutter.
Theres something called VIDEO EDITION.
just math
This man is so accurate in calculating those edges and managed to make it really look nice and neat, doing this whole room just like a one man show.
I watched this volume down, so soothing watching someone so skilled at the job! Incredible ❤️
I'm amazed at how every cut was exactly parallel! ✨ Superb craftsmanship ✨
I love the herringbone pattern, but I am getting this done in solid wood planks, not in bendable tile. Not sure what that product is. But this pattern is beautiful!
This herringbone construction method is a total game-changer! The innovative approach not only adds a stunning visual element but also increases the value of the project significantly. It's incredible how a simple technique can make such a big difference. Thanks for sharing this insightful tip-I'll definitely keep it in mind for future projects! 🛠💡👍
His method of precision cutting is so efficient! I'm analyzing everything and its amazing how detailed and intricate it looks, but he makes it look easy.
His technique is to create right triangles and repeat the process throughout. I never thought geometry was significant important until I saw his work. Amazing guy and work
Yep, I thought geometry right away. Beautiful and accurate.
Absolutely awesome, my next job will be herringbone or bust ! Thanks and awesome skills
Perfeito!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very skilled and no time to waste.
Good job.
